Is Sunday’s CSI episode the series finale? |
February 10th, 2015 under CBS. [ Comments: none ]

For months there have been rumors that CSI’s declining ratings will put it in the morgue and tonight it looks like NCIS was investigating the case. That’s because a promo that ran during NCIS said that this Sunday’s episode of CSI is the series not season finale.
So what’s the dealio? Chris Ender, Executive Vice Presidents of Communications for CBS Corporation, immediately took to Twitter to say it was mistake and as of now no one has killed CSI. In fact he added, “We would never cancel a show in a promo five days before broadcast, especially one that has been this important to the Network.”
Sounds like Sunday will not be the end all for the show. So either it will get a final season or at least a farewell movie. I am hoping for the first option because after 15 years and 3 spinoffs, it deserves at least that.

Thomas Lennon takes full frontal bathroom Selfie! |
February 4th, 2015 under CBS, Thomas Lennon. [ Comments: none ]

Thomas Lennon is so excited that his hotel room has a television screen in his bathroom mirror that he decided to take a Selfie with it. Only thing is Felix Unger was completely naked, but luckily for him the monitor covered up his Odd Couple. Actually, I am upset about it and someone needs to call Reno 911 because he looks so hot, it should be a crime. Who knew he had all of that under his clothes?
It makes me even more excited for The Odd Couple that debuts February 19th on CBS. I’ve seen the pilot and Tony Randall would be praise him because the new Felix does the old one proud.
BTW when you watch the episode, you will see why his body is as toned as it is. He shows off his Yoga skills and he is very advanced. Namaste.

CBS will continue to feel the sting of Scorpion next year! |

CBS announced today that they have picked up three of its freshman dramas for next season. Those three shows are Scorpion, NCIS: NoLA and Madame Secretary. Still awaiting their fate is Stalker and The McCarthys. Translation, even though the networks says they are contenders, I think we can all assume that they are done.
On that note, when I was kid, I learned that assume means “you don’t want to make an A$$ out of U and Me” from the original The Odd Couple television series. Over the weekend, I watched the remake with Thomas Lennon and Matthew Perry, and I would be surprised if it wasn’t picked up for a second season. When it comes to CSI: Cyber and Battle Creek, I would be surprised if they are back for a round 2. Cyber is shockingly so boring for an interesting topic, but except for Scorpion, I find all of CBS’s procedurals to be that way. Battle Creek is unlike anything else on CBS, and that is not a good thing. Their viewers like their dramas and they like that they are all the same. I know Person of Interest, Madame Secretary and The Good Wife are not like the other shows on the network, and how are those shows doing in the ratings? They get ABC numbers. Good for ABC, bad for CBS numbers.

Tonight at 10p on CBS, Blue Bloods celebrates its 100th episode.
Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and his wife, Linda (Amy Carlson), are at the bank trying to refinance their loan, when it is suddenly held-up. There are too many bank robbers and Danny can’t do anything about them until they leave. Once they are gone, his search for them begins. What he doesn’t know is why they did it. When he finds out the reason, he has a tough decision to make. Turn them in or help them out?
Meanwhile over at One Police Plaza, Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) and his PIO, Garrett (Gregory Jbara), finally have it out. Will their fight be the end all of their working relationship?
You just have to tune in to find out. That and for an episode that proves that even though the police procedural is turning 100, it gets better with time.
I am not saying this because I am Blockhead, but I sincerely think that Donnie Wahlberg needs more recognition for his brilliant work on the show. Every week he impresses me with how well he does with whatever the writers give him to do. We knew he could sing, and Blue Bloods truly proves he can act too.

Is Jonny Lee Miller auditioning for Eaten Alive 2? |
December 11th, 2014 under CBS, Do they have something to tell us?, Jonny Lee Miller. [ Comments: none ]

Jonny Lee Miller was photographed with an anaconda wrapped around him, so is he going to show that Eaten Alive guy how it’s done? We will just have to tune into his show Elementary to find out because this photo is from the set of the CBS show.
But let’s say if he was to do that Discovery show, I don’t think it would be the scariest thing he has ever done. After all, he was married to Angelina Jolie for a short time. Sorry it is a slow day and that was a bad joke.
