Fam is still a few months away from its debut on CBS, but the show’s executive producer, Bob Kushnell was fired for “inappropriate language in the workplace.” According to Deadline, it was not in a sexual harassment sort of way, but it was deemed inappropriate. No other details were released about the comments itself.
Kushnell credits include Me, Myself and I, The Muppets, Suburgatory, Samantha Who, Malcolm in the Middle and Grounded for Life.
When it comes to Fam, out of all of the new shows this season, this one is absolute worst of them all. I love comedies but I cannot say anything positive about this unfunny sitcom that stars Nina Dobrev and Tone Bell. I cannot believe that CBS picked up it straight to series, it is that awful.

For the last few years, CBS has been colorizing episodes of I Love Lucy and The Dick Van Dyke Show for the holiday season, and this year is no different. Thankfully! Each classic sitcom will get two episodes that will go from drab to fab on Friday, December 14th.
I LOVE LUCY CHRISTMAS SPECIAL (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT)
Featuring two back-to-back episodes of the classic series, the colorized “The Christmas Episode” and newly colorized “Pioneer Women.” “The Christmas Episode” (first presented in black and white on Christmas Eve, 1956), finds the Ricardos and Mertzes decorating Lucy and Ricky’s Christmas tree and reminiscing about how their lives have changed since the arrival of the Ricardos’ son, Little Ricky. In “Pioneer Women” (originally aired March 31, 1952), Lucy and Ethel’s hopes of joining the posh Society Matrons’ League lead to a bet with their husbands over which sex – the men or the women – had it harder living in a bygone era.
THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW – NOW IN LIVING COLOR! (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT)
The two newly colorized back-to-back episodes of this memorable series were selected by series creator Carl Reiner as two of Dick Van Dyke’s best episodes. In “Where Did I Come From” (first presented on Jan. 3, 1961), 6-year-old Richie asks his parents the inevitable “where did I come from?” question, and they recall the days before his birth. In “Never Bathe on Saturday” (initially presented on March 31, 1965) the Petries’ romantic second honeymoon becomes a disaster when Laura’s toe gets caught in a bath spout.
Normally, I am not a fan of colorization, but CBS does such a great job with these timeless shows that live on in infamy or as we call it syndication. It shows them in a whole new light, a rainbow of colors to be exact.
Tonight at 8:30p on The Good Place, Michael (Ted Danson) takes Elanor (Kristen Bell) to see the mother (Leslie Grossman) she thought was dead but is really alive.
Michael wants Elanor to help her mom to get in heaven. Will she feel the same way when she finds out her mother is very much alive? After three seasons, what do you think she will do?
How Grossman, who is just 9 years older than Bell (and looks younger than her), is playing her mom, is beyond me.
The episode is not only about them, it is also about the others trying to help Tahani (Jameela Jamil) make the sister she hates a better person. Can these two rivals get along or will it end with someone getting the ax?
Out of all of the shows that I watch, and there are many, this one is my favorite one on TV now. Tonight’s episode is another example of why!

Then at 9p on Will & Grace, this episode is very close to my heart because I can relate to what Grace went through.
Grace’s (Debra Messing) father asks her to go a trip to see her late mother at the cemetery. While they are eating at a restaurant, Grace shares a secret with her dad that she has been holding on to for over 30 years. One that happened to me 7 years ago. It is a scenario I never could do, but it was good for me to see play out. While, it brought back a lot of bad memories, it was actually cathartic for me. Sadly, too many other people like Grace and me have been through the same thing and could not tell the person we love so much. Thank you to writers for tackling this topic.
On a lighter note, Jack (Sean Hayes) has to decide who he wants as his best man. Will he choose (Eric McCormack) or Karen (Megan Mullally)? Let’s just the answer will be anything but a drag.

Then at 9:30p over on CBS, Murphy Brown tackles the midterms. Both Murphy (Candice Bergen) and her son Avery (Jake McDorman) will spend all day and night covering the midterm elections on their networks that are polar political opposites.
While the Murphy in the Morning will be up through the night, a Sean Hannity (Peter Gallagher) like character will go from night to daytime to co-host with Avery on the Wolf Network. Personally, I thought this part was so funny, I wish it was the whole episode.
I am not a fan of McDorman, but he won me over tonight. When it comes to Gallagher, I never thought I could dislike him (and Center Stage is one of my favorite movies), but this episode made me come close to doing that.
That is the results of good writing and acting. Which has been a big part of this revival.

We are two days away from Halloween, but The Resident is celebrating it tonight at 8p on Fox. A woman has dreams that are so scary, she needs to be hospitalized. Conrad Hawkins is assigned her case, but he is just as puzzled as she is about why this is happening. Will he be able to figure it out before it is too late?
Then a car accident victim is coming in one limb at a time. AJ Austin (Malcolm-Jamal Warner) thinks he can handle the reattachment surgery by himself until he can’t. Will he be able to get the operating room filled in time?
It is not easy for a medical drama to do Halloween, but The Resident did it perfectly.

Then at 8:30p on Happy Together, Damon Wayans Jr’s dad guest stars on the show as his…dad!
Claire (Amber Stevens West) is on a business trip, so Peter’s (Jr) dad comes by for a surprise visit. For some reason, he opens up to Cooper (Felix Mallard) and the rocker tells his friend what is going on with his dad. How will he handle it?
Better yet, will Peter and Claire be able to master e-sex? Let’s just say it will have Cooper considering moving out.
I do now know why you are not watching this sitcom because it is so funny. Every week I laugh more than the week before.
Today several shows found out that they are joining NBC’s Manafest and New Amsterdam, CBS’s FBI and ABC’s Single Parents.
Over at Fox, The Cool Kids and Last Man Standing will be around until May. Meanwhile, Rel awaits its fate, but I doubt it will go past 13 episodes. Why Fox keeps scheduling live action shows on an animated night is beyond me.
ABC did not pick up any new shows today, but they did give Station 19 a full season. When it comes to the rest, I think A Million Little Things will get a 3 episode pick up. The Rookie will be around for a full season. But I am not sure what they will do with The Kids Are Alright because it is benefitting by The Conners. Can it do well without its lead-in? I highly doubt it.
CBS told The Neighborhood, Magnum PI and Gd Friended Me that they want to be friends with them all season long. Something I never would have called. I thought Magnum was going to stop at 13. Something I fear will happen to Happy Together, which I think is their best new show. Murphy Brown was only picked up for 13 and I think that will be all it will get.
It is too early for The CW to announce what they will do with Charmed and All American. I do not think All American will go all the way, but I do think Charmed will. That leaves NBC’s I Feel Bad and I feel bad that this show will most likely be 13 and done.
Finally, since it is rare that networks pull a show before it airs all of its episodes. I think if Alec Baldwin’s talk show does another really poor outing this Sunday, that it will be its last one.
