When I heard about Kid Nation back in May, I predicted it would be the first show cancelled. In fact I refused to watch it, but then for some reason I decided to give the show a shot. I am so glad I did because it was so great to watch the kids in Kid Nation grow up and actually handle situations better than most adults. It was so easy to give into the controversy of something you only hear about but don’t see and after watching the first season of Kid Nation I am glad I ignored the controversy because it was so wrong.
So tune into CBS tonight to watch Kid Nation and see how far the kids of Kid Nation and Bonanza City have come in 40 days!
Here is to hoping CBS picks up Kid Nation for a second season!
“I Just Like the Recess Part” – The Town Council bans Taylor from having fun, and she has a surprising reaction when her friends brag about the good times they’re having without her. Meanwhile, the Council makes an interesting choice when they pick a law enforcer for Bonanza City, on KID NATION.
I can’t wait to see who become the town’s law enforcer tonight on CBS at 8p! I also find it interesting that they are finally introducing school into the picture over 4 weeks into Bonanza City, you would have thought that would have figured earlier into the show. But granted if I were kid, I could do without school, I am adult and I don’t miss classes!
Not Even Close to Fair
There’s a new District in town: the Gold District. After nearly a month of Pioneer living, eight Gold Stars have been awarded to Bonanza City’s finest… and half of them have been given to members of the Green District. The Green Kids couldn’t be more pleased by this outcome: they celebrate Kennedy’s recent win by dancing in the street, showing off their best Gold Star struts. But not all of the TownsKids are so happy about the Green District’s seeming monopoly on Gold Stars. Emilie watches the Green Kids’ dancing in disapproval, “Nobody’s the coolest Kid. We’re all equals.â€Â
Tonight’s episode looks like it will make or break the town and they still have less than two weeks left in Bonanza City.
When it comes Greg and Blaine vs Laurel and the other kids, I side with Greg and Blaine those two have worked their butts off and Laurel let the power get to her head.
So tune into tonight to Kid Nation on CBS at 8p to see if the town will survive and if we get a new town council?
“Not Even Close to Fair”  The Town Council makes a shocking announcement about realigning Districts that threatens to cause friction among some of the Pioneers. Meanwhile, resentment brews when one District suggests a controversial new name for itself, and Guylan says something that could turn his District against him, on KID NATION, Wednesday, Nov. 14 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS
I can’t wait to see who goes to what district and how they handle it. This show surprised me how good it turned out to be and it has been great to watch most of the kids grow up throughout the season thus far.
