So its the opposite of Survivor?

Jeff Probst is teaming up with his Survivor boss, Mark Burnett again, but this time it is for a show that his idea according to Entertainment Weekly.
The show, Live Like You’re Dying, will feature a person who has been given a terminal diagnosis with a finite amount of time to live and “take them on the last adventure of their life,” according to Probst. That adventure will include reunions with lost friends or formerly feuding family members, a “legacy moment” that will ensure their name carries on forever, and living out a personal dream. “It could be playing guitar with Eric Clapton or jumping out of a plane into a volcano,” Probst explained to EW.com. “Whatever it is that you’re still desiring to do in your life — we want to make it happen.”
At this point CBS has only ordered a pilot of the show, but to me there is something wrong and creepy about it. I know they are doing good for someone during their last days, but to capitalize on it for a show seems wrong. Even the title makes me squirm. What do y'all think?

Anthony LaPaglia injured filming Balibo
September 30th, 2008 under CBS. [ Comments: 3 ]

Anthony LaPaglia was injured filming a scene for Balibo in Darwin, Australia according to Courier Mail. LaPaglia was injured when a machine used to fake a gunshot discharged into his arm by accident.

The accident happened during filming of the scene where LaPaglia's character, Roger East, is shot and killed. The source said filming at Darwin's Stokes Hill Wharf was stopped while LaPaglia was given medical attention.

Rather than exploding outwards, giving the appearance of a gunshot, the device, called a "squib", exploded into the star's arm. LaPaglia was taken to hospital for treatment.

The director told the paper it was a "tiny thing".
My question is what is he doing over in Australia filming a movie, shouldn't he be in LA filming Without A Trace?
UPDATE: The incident happened back in July according to The Daily Telegraph and the director added, "It was only a scratch," he said. "It didn't stop us from working."

Hook up with Gary Unmarried tonight
September 24th, 2008 under CBS. [ Comments: 1 ]

Watch CBS Videos Online

Gary Unmarried stars Jay Mohr and Paula Marshall in a comedy about Gary Barnes, a recently single painting contractor, and his controlling ex-wife, Allison, who face post-divorce mayhem after 15 years of marriage as they each embark on new relationships. He’s the fun parent and she’s the strict one. Together, they share custody of their two children – Louise, a politically correct and environmentally conscious 11-year-old, and Tom, their socially awkward 14-year-old son who is nervous around girls.
Charming and acerbic, Gary hasn’t dated since the split, but finally connects with Vanessa, a single mother whose condo he was hired to paint. He dreads telling Allison about Vanessa because it doesn’t adhere to her belief in their marriage counselor’s book, “Rules for the Perfect Divorce.” However, when Allison tells him that she’s engaged to their shrink, all bets are off and Gary decides it’s time to move forward. Now, in pursuit of post-marriage happiness, Gary must juggle his eclectic world of an ex-wife, their two kids, their shrink and his gorgeous new girlfriend.

Gary Unmarried is a fun sitcom to wrap up your hump day with! The recently married in real life Jay Mohr plays a recently divorced man on CBS’s Gary Unmarried who is getting back on the dating scene while taking care of his kids the days he has custody of them. I always enjoy Jay Mohr’s comedic timing and this show uses that perfectly. Even though the show is based on a dysfunctional family. it is a great family sitcom for the modern day where dysfunctional is normal!
So tune into Gary Unmarried on CBS tonight and every Wednesday at 8:30p for show that will make you laugh out loud!

Ha Ha The Ex List is in trouble!!!
September 16th, 2008 under CBS. [ Comments: none ]

The show that took over Moonlight’s timeslot is already in trouble and it hasn’t even aired. According to Zap2It the show runner, Diane Ruggiero, is no longer with the CBS show.
I have seen the pilot and I can tell you this show stinks and I predict it will be one of the first show’s cancelled. Seriously there is one scene where the neighbor girl goes bald down there (think Britney and Lindsay) and she raises her skirt to show it off to Bella. When her boyfriend doesn’t it like, she gets a wig down there, that doesn’t go on right (well actually it does go on right as in left to right) and shows that to Bella too. Seriously that was some of the dumbest television I have ever seen and I watch a lot of bad TV. Did I mention Bella is just as annoying as she was on Grey’s Anatomy?
Hopefully this show that replaced Moonlight will be off the air before you can The Ex List because it is seriously bad bad bad. And I am not saying that because of Moonlight, I am saying that because it is painfully bad.
