Tori and Dean on Broadway in Chicago?
September 15th, 2007 under Aaron/Candy/Tori Spelling, Broadway. [ Comments: none ]

(photo from Us Weekly)
Page Six is reporting that Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's next job together will be on Broadway in Chicago. The couple will be the third married couple to do the show, the first was Michael C Hall and Amy Spanger, the second is the current couple Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin. I love watching these two in Tori and Dean: Inn Love, but no way you could pay me to see these two in Chicago. Can they sing? Can they dance? I seriously feel bad for all these actors who can sing, dance and act that are losing out on roles to Reality celebs.

The Little Mermaid is coming to Broadway in November, but before Ariel swims with the big fishes she is testing out the waters in Denver. If that picture is a glimpse what the show is going to be like, I can't wait to see the show.

The first photos from Young Frankenstein the Musical

Even though I am protesting this show because of what they did to Cloris Leachmen and the outrageous price of the tickets, after seeing these pictures I actually want to see it. I also have to admit I am having a hard time seeing Roger Bart capture Gene Wilder's essence and I am sorry it obvious from the picture no one ever can (or should) replace Marty Feldman.
Young Frankenstein will begin previews on Broadway in less than two months.

Idol: The Musical closes after one whole night
August 14th, 2007 under American Idol 1-5, Broadway. [ Comments: 11 ]

Idol: The Musical closed after it's opening night performance. The show's producer told BroadwayWorld.
"Todd Ellis, the producer of "IDOL:The Musical," has chosen to close the show due to a lack of advance ticket sales, a lack of positive feedback from audience members and critics, and a lack of sustainable financial resources."
The show was about Clay Aiken's strong fanbase, which makes me wonder if it were the Claymates who closed this show. We all know you don't mess with Claymates, they have the power to change things.
