As if the 3 near death scares weren’t enough to prove it, Bret Michaels is getting older so VH1 is changing Rock of Love so that he will have more age appropriate groupies available to him. I bet he can’t wait to go on a date with the toothless groupie if you know what I mean…
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see who gets backstage passes to his room…in the nursing home!

Have Bret Michaels brushes with death made him finally propose to the mother of his two children? According to Star Magazine the answer is yes, and if you look at that picture of Kristi Lynn Gibson with their two daughters, Raine Elizabeth, 10, and Jorja Bleu, 5 she seems to be wearing a ring on her ring finger. Well the lead singer of Poison explained it all to the CBS Early Show, “No. It’s a work in progress,” he told Hill. “What happened is she has a beautiful promise ring. A promise ring, a friendship ring with benefits. So, it’s — that’s what we call it. But, yes, is it a work in progress. Absolutely. She’s a beautiful woman. She’s strong. I love her. We respect each other. And I think that’s the start of a great relationship.” They have been together for 16 years, have two beautiful girls together and he has nearly died three times this year…WTF is waiting for??? He needs to take her to Vegas and make her an honest woman already!!!
Just a over a month ago Bret Michaels was knock knock knocking on death’s door after having an emergency appendectomy and suffering a subarachnoid hemorrhage, but yesterday he was back on stage rocking like none of that ever happened. Bret Michaels might have given Bill & Ted the all important words to enter heaven, but he has taught the importance that the sheer will to live can do miracles and stall people from entering heaven. I am really in awe of him. It is hard to believe that a month ago we were expecting to read his obit, and now he is back on stage living it up. Just goes to show you have to live every day to its fullest.
I can’t believe after Rock of Love that I would ever think of the Poison singer as an inspiration, but you know what I do.
A day after he deservingly won Celebrity Apprentice, he wrote a thank you note to his fans on Facebook for the first time since his near-death experience a month ago.
With all of my heart, soul and the remaining organs I have left (lol) I would like to thank each and every one of you for all of your support and awesomeness. All the good vibes and well wishes gave me the strength to go back to New York and win Celebrity Apprentice. I am not at 100% yet but I have every intention of trying to continue the tour starting Friday in Biloxi. I hope to see your rockin rollin, smiling faces on the road… that is the best medicine I can think of right now. You rock my world.

His sheer will power to live and enjoy life to the fullest is so admirable to me. I have to admit before Celebrity Apprentice and his health issues, I just thought he was a cheesy ’80s hair band rocker who did the Rock of Loves. But in 2010 I learned he is a really cool dude who I tip my bandanna too.
People asked me if he deserved to win CA and my answer is yes. He was a great competitor all season long and did a much better job with the Snapple campaign than Holly Robinson Peete. Plus he was a much better team player, so I am happy he won! You go Bret.
Now let’s hope he wins he biggest challenge and is 100% by Friday so he can continue touring like he really wants to do.
Bret Michaels made a glorious return to the finale of NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice and heard the two words “You’re hired” from Donald Trump! As if there was any doubt.
It is still amazing to me that a month after we weren’t sure if Bret Michaels would be alive to see the finale of the show, he was able to be there (a)live. His spirit to live was enough for the win, but the way he played the game is why he brought home the prize for his charity. Congrats!
