I feel the same way about Rene as William Shatner, I am so going to miss him on Boston Legal. The cool thing about hearing William Shatner give his thought is now I know how to pronounce Auberjonois. I also loved what he said about John Laroquette being so damn tall. The Night Court cast was one of the tallest casts in sitcom history, so it was so funny to hear him say that. Shatner seems like such a down to earth guy, it makes me want to watch Boston Legal more! Last thought on this, I just love Shatner and James Spader together on BL their chemistry is some of the best I have ever seen on TV!

Michael Ausiello once again broke some good and bad news today when he announce who was staying and who was going on Boston Legal. The going are Julie Bowen, Mark Valley, Rene Auberjonois and Constance Zimmer which kind of makes sense because they have not been using Julie Bowen, Mark Valley and Constance Zimmer much towards the end of the season, but I am so bummed about Rene Auberjonois being let go. Christian Clemenson, they character with aspbergers was upped to series regular. The new hires are John Larroquette and Tara Summers from Dirt, I am not sure who Summers was on Dirt, but I love love love John Larroquette. For some reason I have a crush on him since he was Dan Fielding on Night Court.

Julie Bowen’s water breaks on the Boston Legal set |

According to People, Julie Bowen gave birth to little baby boy last after her water broke on the set of Boston Legal yesterday. Oliver McLanahan Phillips was born at 10:15p and weighed in at 6 pounds 15 ounces.
No word when she will return to finish filming the final few episodes of this season's Boston Legal or how the birth will affect the show. I wonder if they are considering doing what ABC did with Marcia Cross when she was on bed rest and go on location to the hospital. How fun would that be? They should have sent the camers in to the delivery room and used the footage on the show because as you can guess her character is also pregnant on the show.

Mark Valley leaving Boston Legal? |

"Boston Legal" co-star Mark Valley is set as one of the two leads on NBC’s comedy pilot "Business Class," about two men who live in a world of airplanes, cookie-cutter hotel chains and expense-account restaurants. Valley will play an incredibly charismatic and completely amoral salesman. Meanwhile Jane Lynch, who has a recurring role on "Boston Legal," has come on board NBC’s comedy pilot "Area 52," about government employees in a secret location in the Arizona desert. In other pilot casting news: = "ER" co-star Shane West has joined Fox’s "Supreme Courtships," a comedic drama about the personal and professional lives of six Supreme Court clerks — one of them played by West — and the judges they work for.

As I started to watch yesterday’s episode, I thought how much I love this show. I just hope he was one of the rumored exits and not that ABC is cancelling the show and that is why he was cast in a pilot. I love Shane West on ER, but they having been using him recently which could be why he is looking for other roles.

Craig Bierko also leaving Boston Public? |

Craig Bierko has been cast as the lead in Fox’s comedy "The Rules of Starting Over," playing a thirty something newly single man among a group of recently divorced friends. Bierko, who has been recurring on ABC’s "Boston Legal," recently was seen in the feature "For Your Consideration."

Hopefully Mark Valley and him (his arch nemesis) leave together and Boston Legal isn’t dead. I hate pilot season for this reason.
