Will Bon Jovi ever play the Super Bowl halftime show?
April 15th, 2020 under Bon Jovi, Howard Stern, Super Bowl. [ Comments: none ]

Every year, I ask myself the same question after the Super Bowl. When will Bon Jovi ever play the halftime show? If ever there was a band, who was made to do it, it is them.

I am not the only one who wants to know, so does Howard Stern. Therefore, today when the rocker was on the show, the shock jock asked him that very question.

The singer with the best a$$ in Rock’n’Roll told him, “No desire, I turned it down many many years ago.”

Since Stern knows how to do an interview, he followed up with, “why?” JBJ explained, “I didn’t like that you had to team up with other people. And you had these people come in on your stage. And all the demands and then the pressures on it.”

Then he added, “It didn’t appeal to me play at the New Jersey one. It seemed too obvious. The last time, honest to Gd, we were at all interested was back when they had it in Dallas. And we didn’t get it. And I said, ‘That’s the end of it. I don’t want it. I won’t even talk about it again.'”

Sadly, we have our answer if they will ever play the SBHTS. They will never do it. Which is a shame because they could have brought down the house. The energy in the stands would have been like something we have not seen in a really long time at the annual football game.

BTW Who did the NFL get to play the halftime show in Dallas instead of Jovi? Back in 2011, Black Eyed Peas, Usher, and Slash rocked out on the field. I don’t remember their performance, do you? The last good show, to me, was Bruno Mars in 2014.

Now that Jovi is out of contention, which band do you really want to see get the gig?

Jon Bon Jovi and TAFKAP Harry recreate The Beatles’ Abbey Road walk

Back in 1969, The Beatles made walking across the street look uber cool for the cover of their album Abbey Road. For the last 50 years, most people who visit that crosswalk try to recreate the band’s infamous pose.

Today, that moment came to life again with Jon Bon Jovi, The Artist Formerly Known as Prince Harry (JBJ’s nickname for him his new friend), and two members of the Invictus Games Choir.

The four of them were in Abbey Road Studios, recording a new version of Jovi’s song Unbroken to raise money for TAFKAP Harry’s charity Invictus Games. The sporting events “use the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation, and generate a wider understanding and respect for wounded, injured and sick Servicemen and women.” Jovi’s tune is about shining “a spotlight on those veterans living with Post Traumatic Stress Injury (PTSI), to honor their service and acknowledge the strength of the Armed Forces community.”

It is a beautiful combination that helps people who will need it. The Duke of Sussex shared a preview of their single, and their version will tug at your heartstrings because it is so powerful.

Sadly, Harry has not only stepped back from Royal duties, but he also stepped back from singing. He decided to leave that up to the professions. However, he did go into the recording studio with JBJ, it just want not meant to be. I guess he will not be singing for his supper if he needs the money. You know, because of his new status.

See you soon, Harry -JBJ #WeAreInvictus @sussexroyal

Both Prince Harry and Jon Bon Jovi posted a fake text message exchange about getting together on February 28th in London. The soon-to-be-commoner even teased that he might sing with the Rocker. However, that is all they told us.

Well, Omid Scobie found out what their plan is. The will meet at Abbey Road to record a special version of Bon Jovi’s song Unbroken with members of the Invictus Games Choir for the Invictus Games Foundation. The single will be released in March.

I am so disappointed. I was hoping they were going to go to a park in London and start singing Livin’ on a Prayer, and see how many people they could get to join in. Just like a mystery man was able to do a few weeks ago. Who knows, maybe that can still happen?

The power of Bon Jovi!

Matej Priteržnik was strolling through a park in London when he heard a man on a bench singing Bon Jovi. At first, the guy was a solo artist, but then something incredible happened when he got to the chorus. With each line, more and more people started to join in and sing along to Livin’ on a Prayer.

For a few seconds, hundreds of strangers became one unified group. Priteržnik described the incredible moment as “When one person effect the whole croud!”

Forget what Jared Kushner (the worst alum from my extremely sh!tty high school) plans are to bring peace to the Middle East because they are not working. I say drop Bon Jovi and this mysterious man down on the wall and have them sing this song. Maybe that will remind all of them that one thing they all believe in is the power of prayer. Who knows, belting out, “Woah, we’re halfway there, Woah, livin’ on a prayer, Take my hand we’ll make it I swear, Woah, livin’ on a prayer,” might be the answer to the conflict between the Israelis and the Palestinians.

Then if it works, we can send them to the DMZ and unite the two Koreas and other places of conflict. All leading up to the final stop on their World Peace, DC! There are only two things that can unite the Republicans and the Democrats, and they are a miracle and Bon Jovi. The latter is more of a realistic goal.

Talking about goals, when is the NFL going to ask Bon Jovi to play the Super Bowl Half Time show already? Can you think of anyone more perfect than them?

Back to the video, no matter how many times I have seen it, I always get chills when I hear one voice become many — not even seeing Jovi live has had the same effect on me. I have seen them several times, and it will never be enough.

One more takeaway from this video, we all need to go to the park more often and just hang.

Finally, this is not the first time he was caught singing this tune in public. To hear him do it not once, but twice, then click here!

Jon Bon Jovi’s butt!
June 11th, 2019 under Bon Jovi. [ Comments: none ]

The first time I saw Bon Jovi, I had behind the stage tickets. Normally, that would be a bad thing, butt it was not. That is because Jon Bon Jovi has the best ass in Rock’n’Roll, and I enjoyed spending the whole time looking at the two half cantaloupes in his tight jeans with my binoculars.

That was a long time, butt some things never change. For example, in this video diary from the Tallin and Stockholm tour dates, you can see his cheeks are still just as round. All that Jazzercise he does during his shows is paying off big time.

He truly is someone who gets better with age. Normally, I don’t find men with grey hair attractive, but on him it sends my tempature up to 7800° Fahrenheit.

Seriously though, I want to thank the videographer, who read my mind, and focused on shooting below the belt.

In conclusion, watch this video and have a nice day! I know I am now.
