Beyoncé has been told to remake her latest music video – by her fans.A collective group of her followers signed a petition and sent it to her record label, claiming the current video is below par.The petition said: "The video is an underwhelming representation of the talent and quality of previous music video projects of Ms Knowles," website TMZ.com reports. "The editing causes one to get dizzy and disorientated. The dancing is erratic, confusing and alarming. Her outfits are unbelievable and ridiculous." The single behind the video is a collaboration between the singer and boyfriend Jay-Z, and the on-screen behavior of the two is another cause for concern for the fans: "The sexual themes between the duo are alarming and show unacceptable interactions between the two."

Beyoncé Knowles kept the recording of her upcoming album, B’Day, under very tights wraps – sealing its secrets even from her father and manager, Matthew Knowles. As the former Destiny’s Child tells Giant magazine, however, she had her personal reasons. "It took awhile for me and my dad to have an understanding," she says in excerpts from the interview on MTV.com. "When I turned 18 and started handling my business more, he went into shock. And we had our issues." Among them, she says, "I’d say ‘No’ to something, and he’d book it anyway. Then I’d have to do it because I’d look bad (if I didn’t)." Admitting she and her father "would fight sometimes," the singer says that it "took about two years, to when I was 20, for him to realize, ‘Oh, she is an adult now, and if she doesn’t wanna do something, I can’t make her do it.’ " Knowles, who’s usually mum about boyfriend Jay-Z, also comments about their relationship, saying, "It’s very easy. He’s so quick. And we respect each other. If I have any suggestions he respects it. If he has any suggestions, I respect it. It’s just, I don’t know, easy. And fun." Knowles will release B’day – her first solo album since her multi-platinum 2003 solo debut, Dangerously In Love – on her 25th birthday, Sept. 4. The new album’s first single, "Deja Vu," features Jay-Z.

Note To Beyonce’s Dad — Back Off

The undercover video we posted last Friday — showing how PETA ambushed Beyonce at Nobu restaurant in New York City — has triggered a pretty big debate.
Did PETA go too far by winning a charity auction to dine with Beyonce, then setting her up with an undercover camera? Did TMZ go too far by posting the video?
I’m not trying to put myself out as a moral compass, but there are some undeniable truths here. First, the process of creating fur is an ugly, brutal and arguably torturous business. As for whether it’s an acceptable practice, well that’s the subject of legitimate, intense debate.
I’m more than a little surprised that people are shocked that PETA went after Beyonce. Remember, Beyonce does more than wear fur — she has a line of clothing that includes fur. It’s one thing if PETA broke into Beyonce’s house, but for cryin’ out loud, confronting her at Nobu… You put yourself out on an issue of intense emotion, what on earth do you expect?
Beyonce’s dad/manager went ballistic on TMZ, but we will not take this video down. First of all, we didn’t shoot it. Second, it’s a legit story. We do not sanitize news and present only what is acceptable to celebs and their relatives. We won’t be strong-armed by bullies and threats. That’s it.

OMG, I am so rooting for TMZ.
Side note – I am so sick of PETA and their over-the-top antics.
