Katie Cassidy went the People’s Choice Awards dressed more like a Swiss Miss than the star of Melrose Place. What is up that dress? It is not flattering to her figure and I just don’s get that black fringe stuff. Now when it comes to her hair that is a cold mess. If you are going to do that to your hair at least brush it and make the braid neat. The braid was so straggly it makes her hair look really thin and dead.
Katie Cassidy is a beautiful girl, but most of the time that she walks the red carpet she dresses like someone twice her age. I just don’t get it. She should be one of the best dressed and not the worst. In my opinion she earned the title of worst dressed at the People’s Choice Awards yesterday.
Tonight is the night that Ashlee Simpson & Colin Egglesfield move out of The CW’s Melrose Place and we find out who killed Sydney. So after a season of hints who do you think killed the woman that was revived for the remake? For some reason I have a feeling it might be either Auggie or Violet? Granted it could be because both of them are leaving the show tonight. so I am going with the obvious.
Tune into Melrose Place on The CW tonight at 9p to see who killed Sydney and to suffer through Ashlee Simpson’s acting one last time. Thankfully that pain is ending tonight!
UPDATE: Although initial reports said they were leaving in episode 12, just heard that they will be in one more episode in January. I knew it was too good to be true that we would get rid of Ashlee before the New Year.
After weeks of teasing us that Heather Locklear would be back as Amanda Woodward at her old stomping ground Melrose Place, tonight is the night that she moves back in. I can’t wait to see what havoc she brings to show because why else bring her back? That is what she is good for! So tune in to Melrose Place tonight on The CW at 9p to see what Heather Locklear does for Melrose Place 2.0!!!
The good news is that Melrose Place was picked up for 5 more episodes, the bad news is not everyone will be part of those additional episodes. EW’s Michael Ausiello broke the news that Ashlee Simpson and Colin Egglesfield will be looking for a new address in January when we find out who killed Sydney. The show’s executive producers Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer told him that both actors were always expected to leave the show after Sydney’s murder was solved. Well now with their departures we know who killed her, kind of spoiled the next few episodes. But at least we have Heather Locklear to look forward to and they said she is in all the upcoming episodes! She will also be getting a lover played by Billy Campbell and he is not the only new character coming to the show. They will be adding some new residents to fill the vacancies that were left by Ashlee and Colin. Now back to them, I am so sad that Colin is leaving the show because I really liked him but they never really utilized him so it makes sense. When it comes to Ashlee, I am so glad she is gone. OMG her acting and storylines made me want to change the channel every time she was on. Oh and I don’t buy that both of them were always expected to leave the show, do you?
The CW has picked up The Vampire Diaries for a full season and had ordered 5 more episodes of Melrose Place. I am so happy that The CW decided to sink their teeth into The Vampires Diaries for the back nine after last Thursday’s episode that changed up so many things. I could not believe how many big reveals that happened during that show, that I having dying to see how everything will all turn out throughout the season. When it comes to Melrose Place I am bummed they only got 5 more eps, but 18 is better than 13. It will be interesting to see if that number will change after Heather Locklear guest stars on the show next month.
BTW on a TV note in general, it looks like we will be finding out in the next few days what other shows will get additional orders and which only air the 13 episodes that were originally ordered. At this rate it looks like only one fall show (The Beautiful Life) will not air all their ordered episodes. I am not sure if this would be a first time that only one new fall show was cancelled, but it is definitely a rarity.
