So remember when William Shatner asked at this year’s Oscars why can’t Tina Fey and Amy Poehler host everything including the Academy Awards. Well they can’t because Tina Fey told the Huffington Post she doesn’t want that job. When asked if she would do it, she said “I just feel like that gig is so hard. Especially for, like, a woman — the amount of months that would be spent trying on dresses alone … no way.” The interviewer then asked is there is one in a million chance she would do it, she broke our hearts by answereing “I wish I could tell you there was.”
Oh well maybe Anne Hathaway will consider doing it a second time around?
Seriously I am still wishing and hoping for the day they let Robin Williams do it. Now that would be an Oscars to remember forever and ever. Another dream get for me would be Denis Leary, he is also a double threat!
Acutally now that I think about it, how much do you want to bet that they will ask Louis CK to do it next year?
Amy Poehler was on The Late Show tonight and she told David Letterman something cute her son Oscar said to her. The Parks and Recreation star was getting dressed and Archie consoled her by saying “Mom, I am so sorry you don’t have a penis.” But it didn’t stop there because then the toddler added, “But did you have one and break it.” That’s when she told Dave that was her son’s way of finding out if she had one would she be good at taking care of it. The CBS host was quick on his feet to say, “I’ve heard you take good care of them.” After a brief pause he smugly put his hand to his tie and added, “Believe me, I think we all heard.” I can’t tell if Amy thought it was funny or was insulted by his joke? What do you think?
Just days after celebrating their 9th anniversary, Amy Poehler and Will Arnett announced that they are separating. Their rep told Us Weekly “It’s very amicable,” but did not elaborate what went wrong.
Besides having shared several movies and TV appearances to remember their relationship, they also have two sons Archie, 3, and Abel, 2 together.
BTW things just got interesting on the CBS Radford lot because her show Parks & Recreation and his show Up All Night both tape on the same small lot. Can you imagine how awkward it will be when they run into each other there? Forget Hot in Cleveland (that also tapes there) it’s Hot in Studio City!!!
