Fear the Walking Dead has something fear |
January 10th, 2023 under AMC. [ Comments: none ] |
AMC announced today that Fear the Walking Dead will be ending with season 8. The first six final episodes will debut on May 14th, and the rest will be coming later. The eighth season of Fear begins after the conclusion of Season 7, when Morgan’s (Lennie James) and Madison’s (Kim Dickens) hopes to rescue Mo from PADRE did not go as planned. Now, Morgan, Madison and the others they brought to the island are living under PADRE’s cynical rule. With our characters demoralized and dejected, the task of reigniting belief in a better world rests with the person Morgan and Madison set out to rescue in the first place — Morgan’s daughter, Mo. The news isn’t all bad for Walking Dead fans because they are still airing not one, not two, but three other spinoffs. Also coming this year is The Walking Dead: Dead City, starring Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan in June. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, led by Norman Reedus will premiere later this year. Finally, next year we will get a spinoff starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira. For a franchise that has Dead in its title, it really seems to be alive.

AMC takes a baseball bat to The Walking Dead |
September 9th, 2020 under AMC. [ Comments: none ] |
Remember when The Walking Dead was one of the most-watched shows on television. Then it jumped the shark or struck out with a baseball bat? After that moment, people took a baseball bat to the show. Therefore, it makes sense that AMC has decided it’s time for the show to remove the walking for its title, and just be dead.
That is the bad news for the fewer fans that are left. The good news is that end date is still a long way away. The network still has six episodes left to air from season 10. Plus, season 11’s 24 episodes will air over two years. That means the show will not have its head cut off until 2023. Therefore, shed a tear today because you know the show is ending. But know it still has 30 more episodes to piss you off. Wait there is more. If you are still watching in 2023, there is going to be another spinoff from the series with Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride). So today’s announcement doesn’t really feel like anything. It is like wake me up when I should care.

Christina Hendricks attended the premiere for the final season of Mad Men yesterday and her best assets were making men mad. That’s because her buttoned down shirt could barely stay closed because her breasts were a little too big for it. Not that anyone minds.

Did Danai Guirira aka Michonne drop a huge The Walking Dead spoiler??? |
April 2nd, 2014 under AMC, Jimmy Kimmel. [ Comments: none ] |
Danai Guirira was on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and the ABC late night wanted to know if she could tell us anything that is coming up on the next season of The Walking Dead. Well, at first she reflected on all of Michonne’s changes this season, and then she let something huge split. While explaining that she likes how her character has become maternal taking care of Carl, she accidentally revealed “It so works perfectly with what is going to happen with Rick and her having a baby and so…” And so she realized that she just dropped a huge bombshell and nervously asked if they cut that out.
So did she just give birth to a huge reveal? Nope, yesterday was April Fool’s Day and her boss, Scott Gimple, came up with that way to prank us all. Which kind of bums me out because could you imagine if Rick and her had a baby? The show would finally be interesting after the lackluster last few seasons.
BTW I can’t get over how different she looks without all of those dreads. She is absolutely stunning with the short hair. Don’t you agree?

Movies like Devil’s Due and The Last Exorcism 2 have come up with ways to promote their movies by integrating them in to our daily lives. Well now The Walking Dead is following suit as they scare unsuspecting people in NYC. They placed several people dressed up as Zombies under a sidewalk grate and as the living walked over them they stuck their hands up and growled. Watch what happens when The Walking Dead come to life, let’s just say it is more fun for us then the people featured in this video.
