The cast of Switched at Birth works hard for the money and today they found a new way to earn ever more of it. They installed a strip joint on the set and Lea Thompson and her TV husband DW Moffett look very comfortable with it. Why it is there, we don’t know. We will just have to tune into ABC starting on August 24th to find out.
Ben is a normal teenage boy who is about to have his life changed forever. A year ago he found out his parents are getting divorced and his dad is transitioning to becoming a woman. Tonight at 9p on ABC Family, you get to see how Ben and his family handle his dad going from Charlie to Carly on Becoming Us.
Ben has been handling Carly’s change as best as he can, but there are times when it will be harder on him than others. When Carly tells him he is going to get the sexual reassignment surgery, it becomes too much for him.
Luckily, he has his girlfriend, Danielle to help him out. She has been through what he is going through because her dad started transitioning when she was 7 years old. The two of them have become each others support systems and they are helping their dads help each other. On tonight’s episode Danielle and Ben ask Carly to take her parent bra shopping. How will Ben handle that? As any teenage boy would if he has to go bra shopping with a parent and his girlfriend’s parent.
Ben isn’t the only one having problems with all of the changes Carly has brought on to their family. His older half sister, Sutton, is getting married and she has returned home to plan her wedding. Even though Carly is not her biological dad, she is trying to figure what if any part she should play in her big day.
Becoming Us is an honest look as what it is like when your dad tells you he is becoming a woman. Over the last few months many people have become interested in transgender thanks to Caitlyn Jenner. This is a story of an average family experiencing it. You get to see what it is like when an average Joe becomes an average Jane and how the family handles it. It’s not as easy as it was for Bruce to become Caitlyn and because of that is a must watch. The more shows like this, the more accepting people will become. Hopefully!
Baby Daddy is finally back on ABC Family tonight at 8:30p and the show gets funnier and funnier with each episode.
The season premiere takes place a short time after the season finale and Riley (Chelsea Kane) is dealing with fall out with Danny (Derek Theler) and Ben (Jean-Luc Bilodeau) Wheeler. So she has moved out of her apartment and in with her parents. Ben will do everything in his power to get her to come back, but will he be able to do it? Is she ready for a new start away from the Wheelers?
When it comes to the Wheelers someone found a way to get away from them? How? Their next door neighbor died and now they are all trying to get a piece of her especially Bonnie (Melissa Peterman) and Tucker (Tahj Mowry). Because that is just how they are.
Who will get the most? You will just have to tune into tonight to find out. That and to spend a full thirty minutes laughing.
ABC Family is doing something they have never done before tonight at 9p, they are getting into the procedural business and they are kicking a$$ with it. Stitchers is a smart murder investigation show that you will quickly find yourself addicted too.
Kirsten (Emma Ishta) is a grad student with no emotions and no sense of time. One day her life is going to change when her roommate calls out her scholastically for something she didn’t do. The teacher feels he has no other option but to put her on academic suspension. To make matters worse, it looks like her father committed suicide but she seems to think otherwise. Since bad things come in threes, she is then kidnapped by a covert government agency for a top secret mission. They feel she will be the perfect person to take part in their Stitchers program.
They have discovered that after a person dies, their memories go on for a finite amount of time. They found a way that they can transport someone conscience into someone elses brain and get the information they need to solve their murder and prevent other ones from happening.
The clues won’t always make sense to her, so she will get help from Cameron (Kyle Harris), a neuroscientist who works on the project, Linus (Ritesh Rajan), a bioelectrical engineer and communications technician there and her roommate, Camille (Allison Scagliotti). The latter one and her find a way to make up.
Each week, they will be given some clues from a dead person’s memories and then they will go on a scavenger hunt until they find the killer. Then when it is all done, time for the next case.
Stitchers is a fast paced procedural that will have you guessing until the very last second what really happened. Unlike other shows like it, you will never guess who did it until it is revealed. Isn’t that what a good procedural is all about?
Lea Thompson is 53 years old and her body still has all the right moves.
The Switched at Birth actress shared a photo of herself in a bikini and Howard the Duck would find it something to sing about. I mean even Marty McFly would have dirty thoughts about his mom if he saw her looking like that back in our future.
Don’t you want to have Casual Sex? with her? Sorry that movie title played in perfectly for that question?
