March 13th, 2026 under CBS

Tonight at 10p on CBS, Boston Blue celebrates St. Patrick’s Day. At least they are hoping to.

The episode starts off with Lena (Sonequa Martin-Green) showing up at a scene. When she gets there, she hears shots being fired. The person who called is dead, and now she needs to find out why.

Her, Danny (Donnie Wahlberg), and Sara (Maggie Lawson) learn that the victim always wanted to be a cop, and he had something to share. What is it? He found out that there is a threat to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. However, he didn’t say what it was before he died.

Therefore, the clock is ticking, and they need to find out what the threat is before there is another Boston Marathon situation. Can they do it?

They need to do it because Danny and his son, Sean (Mika Amonsen), want to celebrate their first St. Patty’s Day in Boston, a day the Silvers hate because of all the non-Bostonians who come to celebrate and ruin their city.

Wahlberg says that is the one thing that Boston does better than NYC. As a Bronx girl who went to NYC’s parade for the holiday, he is wrong.

Back to Boston Blue. The police procedural keeps proving that it is a worthy spinoff from Blue Bloods. It was the push the legacy needed.
