In June 2022, BTS shocked the world when they announced that they were taking a break because they needed to fulfill their mandatory military service in South Korea.
Now, four years later, RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook have all completed their service, and they are ready to serve the BTS Army with new music and a tour in the Spring of 2026.
“Starting in July, all seven of us will begin working closely together on new music,” they continued. “Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member’s thoughts and ideas. We’re approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started.”
The seven of them reunited this morning to announce the news live on Weverse.
