Luxe Life can report first that Britney Spears is back in Vegas tonight, but this time it’s all work and very little play for the controversial pop princess. Britney is in Las Vegas through the weekend at the Recording Studio at the Palms laying down two new tracks for her long-awaited album. She is in the studio working with record producer Dr. Luke, who has written hits and produced for some of the biggest names on the charts. Kelly Clarkson, local favorite Pink, Avril Lavigne, Lady Sovereign and Chris Daughtry are just some of the names on his resume. Britney is staying at one of the expensive sky villas inside the Palms Fantasy Tower, but it is not the $40,000 a night Hugh Hefner suite. Luxe Life has learned that there are no plans for Britney to go out on the town maintaining her reckless party girl reputation as she is very serious about completing tracks for the album. Britney is also reportedly working with the Pet Shop Boys on this album as she is a big fan of the remixes the duo did for Madonna.
