Almost eight months after calling her last engagement,
Page Six is reporting that Jennifer Love Hewitt has said yes to her Ghost Whisperer co-star’s proposal. Jamie Kennedy spontaneously asked her to marry him when he performing at a club over the weekend.
A witness relates that an audience member yelled out, “Marry her!” — and Kennedy “got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.” The glowing actress said yes even though he didn’t have a ring. “It was a standing ovation,” said our source. Let’s just hope it was the one line of the night that wasn’t a joke.
No word yet from their people or the show if the engagement took, but by the looks of all the pictures of them it was just a matter of time. They both look so much in love. In fact I think it is going to be fun to watch them try to hide their off-camera romance on the new season of the CBS show.
BTW maybe the two will confirm the news during their Ghost Whisperer panel on Sunday at Comic-Con?
UPDATE: Jamie Kennedy just Tweeted that they are not engaged because Long Beach is not the place where he would do it.
