CineMmrk is hoping to be back in business by July 10th. Before they completely open their doors nationwide, they will be doing a test run starting on June 19th at five of their theaters in Texas.

They are doing this to find how the new safety measures, due to Coronavirus, will work. One of the measures is that all of their employees will be required to wear masks, but the patrons will not.

However, according to Deadline, they will be using “seat buffering technology” to make sure that the audience will be social distancing. What that means? We do not know.

What it means for me, is that I will stick with drive-in theaters. I don’t want to sit a cold dark room with strangers who are not wearing masks. One popcorn kernel goes down the wrong pipe, and I will Netflix and have the chills.

Do you feel comfortable going back to the movies if the theaters don’t require everyone to wear masks?
