This weekend Tyler, The Creator presented Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, a 2-day musical event that concluded with a special unannounced guest. The fans were convinced that Frank Ocean was that mystery person. Therefore, when Drake walked out on to the stage, the audience booed him.
The Degrassi star asked them, “If you want me to keep going, I’ll keep going.” They responded with nos and boos. What else could he do, but say to them, “It’s been love. I love you. I go by the name Drake. Thank you for having me.” Then he walked off the stage with his tail between his legs.
I cannot say I blame them, what was that foul-mouthed entrance he made that made no sense? I love four-letter words, but not to start off the night. Be a little more welcoming and not just curse everyone out.
I am a Degrassi fan, but I hope this taught him a lesson. Just cause you sell millions of records and think you are hot sh!t, not everyone likes you. See Donald Trump at recent sporting events. I guess Drake is the Trump of Rap, so what does that make Kanye West?
