Today was Hulu’s upfront day and they announced a lot of what is coming up on the streaming service. The big news is the third season of Handmaid’s Tale will be back with all new episodes starting on June 5th. Let the revolution begin. Then a month later, on July 26th Veronica Mars will stream its first new season since it got cancelled in 2007. The 2014 movie was not a season.
They also announced that they picked up the teenage dramedy Pen15 and Ramy for another season. Hulu is also adding two Marvel Universe shows to their lineup and they are Marvel’s Ghost Rider and Marvel’s Helstrom. David E. Kelley and Nicole Kidman are joining the network in Nine Perfect Strangers as is Kate McKinnon in The Dropout. Finally, Chrissy Teigen is bringing her love of food to them with a multiyear deal.
There is a reason why Hulu now has over 28 million subscribers and counting. There is plenty of content for us to enjoy. Not only do I love their original shows, but I also wind up watching broadcast shows on their app over on their original apps.

I tried watching The Handmaid’s Tale because it had Yvonne Strahovsky in it. I lasted 1 1/2 episodes. The show is unbelieveable, unremarkable, drawn-out dogshit.
