Want to get in Tommy Lee’s pants? The rocker is happy to oblige. Lee’s starting a fashion line, which he’s calling PL for TL (People’s Liberation for Tommy Lee) inspired by his extensive ink collection.

The limited PL for TL line will mostly consist of jeans, T-shirts and hats for men and women, with imagery from the rocker’s many tattoos reflected throughout the graphics and detailing. The jeans, which come in skinny, straight-leg, super-low, and boot-cut styles, feature back-pocket images that include a skull wearing a top hat, a dragon, a lotus flower and a koi fish as well as Lee’s signature. Those graphics are repeated on the T-shirts and hats, which will be military-cap style — no trucker hats, the design team said, because Lee thought they were "over."

The jeans, which have a little bit of stretch for a sleek fit, come in washes that vary from dirty-looking to clean and are named after songs — or words that reflect Lee’s music, such as Dirty, Madness, Crinkle, Sister Mary and Good Times. T-shirt colors follow suit, with Mayhem meaning olive, Good Times standing in for red and Madness doubling as black.

"When one purchases a piece from the line, they’re also buying a piece of the rock-and-roll lifestyle," said People’s Liberation CEO Danny Guez, who previously partnered with Justin Timberlake for his William Rast clothing line

Hooded sweatshirts are being added to the PL for TL line as well, and while production of the added items hasn’t started yet, the sweatshirts should be ready by the time Lee’s clothing launches at Bloomingdale’s stores nationwide in September. The department-store chain anticipates a "sell-out success," according to buyer Pearl Woodring. Specialty boutiques will also carry the line.
