Carson Daly is leaving Last Call to join the
Today show starting on September 16th, and for you fans of The Voice he will still be hosting the singing competition.
So what will he be doing on the morning news show? He will be in charge of their new Orange Room that will be dedicated to social media and connecting viewers with the show. I am guessing he will kind of be like that person who does that for The Voice, you know that person that everyone fast forwards. But he more interesting and you want to hear what he has to say.
Now when it comes to his replacement on Last Call, NBC has yet to make a decision. I just hope it is not another Saturday Night Liver. There are already too many of them on NBC’s late night. Ahh it just hit me, since Lorne Michaels is in charge of NBC’s late night; I bet he finagled this deal so he can give that job to another SNLer and that is why Carson is waking up early instead of staying up late.
