When Laurence Fishburne announced that he was leaving CSI, I had no idea who CBS was going to get to replace him. Well they got someone so much better, because they landed Ted Danson. He was not on my list as a possible replacement, but I think he will be great on the show.
In a
CBS press release they describe his role as, “Danson will play the new CSI Supervisor for the grave shift after heading the crime lab in Portland. He comes to the team as they are still grappling with the professional and personal fallout from last season’s take-down of serial killer, Nate Haskell.”
Will he make me watch? You know what I might just check him out because it is such an odd casting choice. We can all check him out on September 21st at 10p when the new boss makes his debut on CSI’s new night!
