Al Roker was anchoring Today this morning when the show started. However, halfway through, he disappeared.
Where did he go? His absence was not explained.
But then he took to social media from outside the New York Courthouse to announce that he was selected for jury duty. Imagine what the lawyers and judge were like when they saw him out there.
I respect that he showed up and didn’t try to get out of his civic duty.
On that note. I respect that he laughed at himself because he said duty twice. Proving that at 72, you are never too old to laugh at saying that word.
