The Foo Fighters are releasing their 12th album on April 24th, and Dave Grohl talked about Your Favorite Toy to Graham Norton recently.
Grohl explained that the band, which has been together for 30 years, releases albums for each stage of their lives. So what stage are they at? The 57-year-old revealed that he and his bandmates are “A bunch of grumpy old men.”
That is why the first single sounds like a punk rock song from the late ’70s. Or as the singer explained, “You’d think that maybe as you get a bit older that things sort of soften down…As you get older, you’re like, 🖕🖕🖕…That’s where where at now.”
I gotta say, I am right there with him. So I can’t wait to bang my head to their 10-track record in two months from today! Rock on, bitches!
