Superman is one of the biggest movies of this year, and it is the biggest one of the Summer. Therefore, people have been wondering when we will get a sequel.

Today, James Gunn answered that very question. He wrote, “Man of Tomorrow. In theatres July 9, 2027.”

The director also confirmed that David Corenswet will be reprising his role as the Man of Steel, and Nicholas Hoult will go under the razor again to play Lex Luthor.
