March 6th, 2025 under Donald Faison, The CW

In 2021, The CW shot a pilot for a possible live-action Powerpuff Girls series with Chloe Bennet, Dove Cameron, and Yana Perrault but decided not to move forward.

Three years later, leaked footage was released on social media, and it was not like the cartoon version we knew.

The girls were all grown up and wanted nothing to do with their personas due to accidentally killing someone who was out to get them. After his death, they go from beloved to be hated.

Several years after that incident, Bubbles still dresses like herself on Hollywood Blvd to make enough money to buy more alcohol. Buttercup is a real-life hero who never wants to put on the costume again. And Blossom is just stressed.

The three of them decide to come to see their dad, played by Donald Faison, and evil comes for revenge and to destroy Townsville. And it looks like he will succeed until the Powerpuff Girls save the day.

And now, they go from zeroes to heroes all over again.

I don’t know why The CW opted not to pick up this show because it looked like it would’ve been a lot of fun. Oh, I know, that is why. The CW was dark, and this show was light.
