In 2003, Adrien Brody won the Best Actor Oscar for The Pianist. He was so excited about the win that he planted a huge kiss on presenter Halle Berry’s lips.
The actress, who won Best Actress the year beforehand, has talked about how unhappy she was about that kiss throughout the years.
Now, 22 years later, Berry, who is presenting again this year, saw Brody, who is nominated for the Brutalist, on the red carpet. What did she do? She pushed his girlfriend, Georgina Chapman, out of the way and gave him a huge kiss on his lips.
How did he feel? He loved it! What man wouldn’t?
Oh, and Berry apologized to Chapman, who also loved it.
UPDATE: Brody won his second Oscar. And did not give presenter, Cillian Murphy, on the lips! He learned his lesson.
