Ringo Starr has spent this month touring the United States with his All-Star band. After ten dates, his doctors told him he needs to cancel the final two dates of the tour that began on September 7th.
The singer’s people released this statement: “Today Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band announced that unfortunately they have to cancel their upcoming last two shows including tonight’s performance at TD Pavilion at The Mann in Philadelphia, PA and tomorrow at Radio City Music Hall in New York City due to illness.
“Ringo has come down with a cold and after consulting a doctor he was advised to cancel these two remaining shows and get rest.”
The Beatles’ oldest and youngest member is 84, so if his doctors suggest he rests, he needs to listen to them. This way, he and Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart, Gregg Bissonette, Buck Johnson, and Edgar Winter can hit the road again in the future.
Peace and love!
