Miley Cyrus is Dolly Parton’s Goddaughter, and that is not all. Access Hollywood found out via Ancestry.com that they are seventh cousins once removed.
Dolly’s sixth great-grandfather is Miley’s seventh. John Brickey lived in Tenessee in the early 1800s, about twenty miles from where Dollywood is today.
How does the Country legend feel about that? “That’s amazing,” she said with excitment. “It doesn’t surprise me because she does feel like family. I’ve always said she feels like a niece or a child or whatever. So that is a cool little thing there that you just told me.”
Do you see the resemblance? Now that I think about it, their eyes kind of look alike.
