Want to get into Sydney Sweeney’s jeans?
July 23rd, 2025 under Sydney Sweeney. [ Comments: none ]

Not only is Sydney Sweeney hot, but she is also a hot commodity. So hot, she has become the tush, I mean, face of American Eagle.

“There is something so effortless about American Eagle – it’s the perfect balance of being put-together but still feeling like yourself,” says Sydney Sweeney when asked about her favorite denim. “Their commitment to creating pieces that make you feel confident and comfortable in your own skin is something that resonates with me. It’s rare to find a brand that grows with you, the way American Eagle has for generations. They have literally been there with me through every version of myself.”

So if you want to grow with actress, then put on a pair of American Eagle jeans today!

McDonald’s has Happy Meals, Wendy’s has a spooky one!

CNW Group/Wendy’s Restaurants of Canada

Today is Wednesday, so it is a good day for Wendy’s to announce that they are launching a special meal for Wednesday Addams to enjoy because girls with braided pigtail stick together.

The limited-time Meal of Misfortune is centred around the “Dips of Dread,” four inferno-inspired mystery sauces, along with “Rest in 10-Piece” Nuggets, small “Cursed & Crispy” Fries, and a small “Raven’s Blood” Frosty®, all served in custom packaging only Wednesday could have devised*.

Each bag comes with two of the four mystery sauces: You Can’t Hyde, This Will Sting, Grave Mistake or Nowhere to Woe that will set your mouth on fire. Plus, a dark cherry swirl Frosty in a Wednesday-themed cup to slurp down like a magic potion.

“Normally, I’d be against this kind of capitalistic corporate synergy,” said Wednesday Addams, Nevermore Academy student. “But when the fast-food-slinging pigtailed provocateur said I could do whatever I wanted to her customers, I couldn’t resist.”

If you can’t resist Wednesday’s meal, then you will be unhappy to know it debuts on August 4th, two days before the series’ second season premieres.

There is even more miserable news for Wednesday fans. Netflix picked it up for a third season today.

Creators/Writers/Showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, “It’s been a dark delight to watch Wednesday cast her spell over audiences across the globe – one deadpan quip at a time. We’re beyond thrilled she’ll be returning to stalk the halls of Nevermore in Season 3. This time, she’ll unearth more of the school’s sinister secrets – and descend even deeper into the Addams family crypt. Or, as Wednesday would say: ‘Nothing brings a family together like a good exhumation.'”

OMG, Paramount didn’t kill Kenny!
July 23rd, 2025 under South Park. [ Comments: none ]

It is Christmas in July because Comedy Central picked up South Park for 50 new episodes. But wait, it gets better. All 26 previous seasons will be available to stream on Paramount+ for the first time.

“Trey and I and the whole South Park crew are grateful for this extension and this deal. We want to thank Chris McCarthy and Keyes Hill-Edgar for years of great partnership and are looking forward to continuing to make South Park for the next five years,” said Matt Stone.

Added Trey Parker, “We are grateful for this opportunity and deeply honored by the trust placed in us. This is about more than a contract — it’s about our commitment to this organization, our teammates, and our fans. We’re focused on building something special and doing whatever it takes to bring championships to this city.”

Christmas came really early for Stone and Parker because their new five-year deal is worth $300 million per year for a total of $1.5 billion.

Season 37 debuts tonight at 10p.
