Could White Collar come back?
June 7th, 2024 under Matt Bomer, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen. [ Comments: none ]

Suits has had a massive resurgence on Netflix, and now another USA Network show is finding millions of new viewers on the streaming service. Because of that, White Collar’s creator, Jeff Estin, told the audience at the Variety TV Fest yesterday that he is working on a reboot script for the FBI procedural with the three surviving leads: Matt Bomer, Tim DeKay, and Tiffany-Amber Thiessen.

“It’s a fantastic script and it answers all the questions that one would have if you watch the show,” DeKay said. “And it would introduce the show to those who haven’t seen it as well. Both edges of the sword are honed.”

In 2021, we lost Neal Caffrey’s partner in crime, Willie Garson. DeKay revealed that the new script will honor the late actor. DeKay’s TV wife, Thiessen, added, “With such sensitivity and such heart.”

The actress said the script captures “the suspense, the thrill, the characters, and the love” that we adored from the original run.

Since this is in the early stages, we do not know if it will get picked up and who will air it.

I hope that someone opts to revive the series because it was a really enjoyable show that still has more stories to be told. And dare I say it, White Collar is a much better show than Suits. And Suits is a good show.

The Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight gets a new date
June 7th, 2024 under Mike Tyson. [ Comments: none ]

Mike Tyson and Jake Paul were supposed to fight live next month on Netflix.

However, Tyson suffered a medical emergency on a flight last month, and the fight had to be postponed. Today, Netflix announced the new date.

“Although we had to postpone the fight, I will resume training shortly. I am thankful to the medical staff that treated me and to MVP, Netflix, and AT&T Stadium for working diligently to find the best rescheduled date for all parties,” said Tyson. “While we have a new date, the result will be the same no matter when we fight. Jake Paul is getting knocked out. On Friday, November 15, watch this in-person at AT&T Stadium or live on Netflix.”

So mark your calendars because you don’t want to miss Tyson knock out Paul in seconds.

If you want to see the fight in person, you can still get tickets here.

The new episode of Evil isn’t Kosher
June 6th, 2024 under Paramount+. [ Comments: none ]

The third episode of the final season of Evil just dropped on Paramount+. And it changes everything. It gives birth to the episode that sets up the finale.

Kristen (Katja Herbers), David (Mike Colter), and Ben (Aasif Mandvi) are sent to a pig farm because the pigs seem to be possessed. But are they? That is what they have to find out. How do you do a mass exorcism to pigs? You don’t bring in a Rabbi.

But that is not all that happens. The woman carrying Kristen and Leland’s (Michael Emerson) baby, aka the Anti-Christ, goes into labor. She calls Kristen to help her because she is afraid of what will happen to her after she gives birth. She overheard what Leland has planned for her, and she has every reason to be frightened.

Kristen wants nothing to do with her and even less with the baby. But she is too good of a person to leave the woman out there by herself. So Kristen rescues the woman and takes her to the hospital, where she gives birth.

What does the Anti-Christ look like? You just have to watch to find out.

If you think this episode is impressive, wait until next week’s episode. Leland meets his son and finds out that being a dad is not what he thought it would be.

BTWF: Ken Marino on Spin City
June 6th, 2024 under Before They Were Famous. [ Comments: none ]

Before Ken Marino worked as a caterer on Party Down, he used to work as a chef on Spin City. He looks the same now as he did when he was 28 in that 1997 episode.
