Bruno Mars made a lot of money with his album 24K and he is giving back some of that gold to his home state of Hawaii. The singer donated to the Salvation Army — Hawaiian & Pacific Islands Division’s 48th annual Thanksgiving Dinner meal program. A donation totaling 24,000 meals to Hawaiians in need according to Honolulu Star Advertiser.
Not only has he created some of the best music of his generation, but he is also showing other singers he has the heart as big as tunes.

Before Marsha Warfield was a bailiff on Night Court, she was almost a defendant in one for what she did on The Richard Pryor Show. How funny was the 23-year-old in that hilarious 1977 bit? They could never do that today on broadcast today. And yet, now I want to order corn on the cob at a restaurant to meet a guy.
Warfield posted that clip yesterday and wrote, “About 41 years ago, I was fortunate enough to get the chance to work with the greatest comedian in the world…#TheRichargPryorShow #GOAT #BestToEverDoIt #Proud #Honored #IWasSoNervousIAlmostPeedOnMyself”
Tonight at 9p on ABC, Black-ish celebrates its 100th episode by honoring Prince. Since Dre (Anthony Anderson) and Bow (Tracee Ellis Ross) named their twins after a John Mellencamp song, it would make sense that Jack (Miles Brown) and Diane (Marsai Martin) don’t know who Prince is and how powerful his music is to the Johnson family.
Therefore, they are going to get a lecture in the music of the artist always known as Prince. The legendary late singer touched everyone in a different way and each one of his songs that means something very special to them. That and we will find out which kid was conceived to which one of his songs.
If anyone can get you in the mood, it is Prince. If any show can make you laugh, it is Black-ish. Congrats on episode 100!

Then at 10p but over on NBC, New Amsterdam brings the heart, I mean liver. Six people will receive part of a liver from a family member of a person who also needs that body part. Basically forming a chain. Then when one family member drops out, the chain is broken. Will there be a way to save the chain or will this life-saving project turn deadly?
If Max (Ryan Eggold) does not have enough on his plate, now that his wife knows about his cancer, he cannot run away from it anymore. He will have to face it head on and make decisions that will save his own life.
There is a reason why New Amsterdam is my favorite new show of the season, it gets better with each episode. What sets this medical drama apart from the others is that it is about the patient and not the disease. That is why I always have tissues ready because you care about the people they are trying to cure.
About two months after The Good Cop premiered on Netflix, Tony Danza and Josh Groban found out if they will be fighting crime for another season. The answer is no.
The streaming service told Variety, “We’re grateful to creator Andy Breckman and his fellow producers, writers, the incredible crew and especially stars Tony Danza and Josh Groban for bringing this classic odd couple father-son story to Netflix.”
While the cop dramedy started off slow, it picked up towards the end of the season. I was rooting for it to come back. On a positive note, at least Josh Groban got a chance to be a lead in a series.
Over the weekend, Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus lost their Malibu house in the Woolsey Fire. Today, the actor was able to go back to where he lived. When he got there, all that was left was a sign that reads one word. That word is “love.” That is what will get them through this tough time.
Hemsworth wrote this with that powerful photo, “It’s been a heartbreaking few days. This is what’s left of my house. Love. Many people in Malibu and surrounding areas in California have lost their homes also and my heart goes out to everyone who was affected by these fires. I spent the day in Malibu yesterday and it was amazing to see the community pulling together to help each other out in any way they can. Malibu is a strong community and this event is only going to make it stronger. Thankful for the all the great local guys that helped keep smaller fires out around my property. I love u guys. I love you Malibu. Thank you to all the hero firefighters around California. It’s going to be a journey to rebuild. Stay strong all. To help/donate visit @malibufoundation and @happyhippiefdn”
Malibu will come back stronger, but until then we are there for you.
