I know that the new singer of Journey sounds like Steve Perry, but he is not Steve Perry. The only person who is like Steve Perry is Steve Perry, and he just announced that No Traces, his first record in this century, will be out in October.
With that announcement, the singer explained why he took a break from music:
Years ago, I disappeared.
There were many reasons, but mainly…
My Love for Music had suddenly left me.
I knew that simply stopping, was what I had to do.
If music was ever to return to my heart,
then and only then I would figure out what to do.
If not… so be it,
for I had already lived the dream of dreams.
Many years passed.
One day, I began sketching some musical ideas
with the creative freedom that I was the
only one who would ever hear them.
One song led to many.
My Love for Music had returned.
Then another beautiful thing happened.
I found Love.
My precious Kellie gave me a life
I never knew I had.
I lost her December of 2012.
I now deeply understand the meaning of:
“’It’s better to have Loved and Lost,
Than to have never Loved at All.”
May of 2015,
I began recording.
These songs are special to me.

Perry released the first music video from the CD and it is like no time has passed since he recorded new songs. If the other tunes are just like No Erasin’, then I cannot wait to hear the rest of the album. Heck, I cannot wait for the album whether they sound like No Erasin’ or not.
Today is a great day for music because of this news!
Allure challenged Nina Dobrev to do 9 things she has never done before and I don’t think she will do all but one of them again. They were things like play an accordion, ask the magic 8 ball some questions and put a Bump It in someone’s hair. The worst of them was the Skip It, a retro toy that was popular before she was born. She failed miserably at it, but she looked cute while doing it.
Her favorite one seemed to be guessing which cookie was for humans and which one was for dogs. When she guessed wrong, she decided to take a bite of the dog treat. You know what, she liked it. Maverick better watch out because mommy is coming for your treats.
Dobrev actually did 10 things and the final one was a bonus one. That is when she sat on 5 Whoopie Cushions at the same time. When they all did not go off, she got a shocking surprise when she tried it again.

I grew up with horror movies since before I started school, so it takes a lot to scare me. But there are a lot of people who are not like me and scream at the littlest jump scares.
Case in point a 7-second ad for The Nun streaming before videos on YouTube was deemed too scary for the site, so they pulled it. They told one of the complainers, “Appreciate you bringing this to our attention! This ad violates our shocking content policy and it’s no longer running as an ad.
