Taylor Swift is striking out in baseball this season because some of the teams think she is cursed if she takes her tour their stadium.
The singer has been playing some baseball stadiums this summer with her 1989 tour and of the ones that she played, the teams have all suffered more losses than wins since her concerts.
Back in late July, the Houston Astros forced her to reschedule her October date to September just in case they made it to the postseason. At the time, it looked like they were going to go, but then… They lost 7 of 8 games, and now they stand at 8-11 since they forced her to postpone her show. According to ESPN the last time they went from being above .500 to below it was…1989.
They weren’t the only team to deal with the ramifications of having her at their home base, the Washington Nationals also suffered the same fate. Days after she played their stadium, the lights went out and the game was suspended. The team was expected to go to playoffs, but suffered several losses since then and their season is over.
Finally, there’s the San Diego Padres who have gone 11-18 since she played their house on August 29th.
They say bad things come in three and the Toronto Blue Jays are hoping that’s the case. Why? She is due to play there this weekend and they are hoping it doesn’t ruin their postseason chances.
Luckily for her, Toronto is a nice town. If she were playing NYC this weekend, I am sure a few Mets fan would take out her bus or kidnap her cats. Nothing comes between the Mets and their postseason odds.
Finally, I think we can all agree, we won’t be seeing her singing the National Anthem during the World Series. Do you think she is cursed?
We’ve all heard of Driving Miss Daisy and now we are finally seeing Miss Daisy Driving. Jessica Wolf got her son a car and she was surprised to find out her dog preferred the driver’s seat. So she got the remote control and her let her pup take the wheel as her son got chauffeured around.
What we got is the most arfdorable video of the week.
BTW Daisy drives better than a lot of people I see on the roads these days. So much so, I think I will teach my cat how to drive. Hopefully it won’t be a catastrophe.

For hundreds of years, we have been smacking Piñatas with all of might and up until now they have taken it. Well, that stopped when a little boy hit a firetruck over and over with a bat. The red engine smacked him in the head and now he really needs a real ambulance to help him out.
Don’t worry, I am sure he is fine. I bet his dad ripped that thing open and gave his son all the candy he wanted from it. Candy makes everything better.

Last season on The Affair, it was all about Noah (Dominic West) and Alison’s (Ruth Wilson) perspectives each hour, but tonight at 10p on Showtime they change everything up.
Tonight’s season premiere takes place about a month after Noah told his wife, Helen (Maura Tierney), that he was having an affair. He has moved in Alison and his mother-in-law moved in with his estranged wife. Their 4 kids are not handling their parents’ impending divorce very well and neither is Helen.
The two of them want to end their marriage as quickly and painlessly as possible, so they are seeing a mediator. And this is how the show differs from last season. Last year, it was half Noah’s story and half Alison’s, tonight’s episode is half Noah’s and half Helen’s. Next week, it is half Alison’s and half Cole’s (Joshua Jackson), her soon-to-be-ex-husband. A change that I think works better for the award winning drama.
One thing that doesn’t change, each perspective ends in the modern day and Noah’s arrest.
With all the changes, I can’t wait to see how the ramifications of the affair play out.
