Abracadabra there is a new magic competition show on Syfy tonight at 10p called Wizard Wars and you don’t want to miss this show.
Each week, two teams of magicians will be given some common everyday products like Spam and a Super Soaker to use in their act and the winner goes on the next round. During round 2, they get a new set of objects and the unprofessionals will take on the professionals. The winner of that round gets $10,000 and that can buy a lot of rabbits and top hats.
You know, that these magicians are really good if they can shock Penn & Tell, who are judging the competition. So if they were shocked, I was utterly amazed and you will be too.

Lindsay Lohan ran into Tina Fey and she shared this amazing photo of the two Mean Girls together again. Hopefully, they discussed doing a reunion movie, since there is a spinoff, Mean Moms, and a stage musical in the works. Maybe Cady Heron and Ms Norbury can be teachers together and take on the Mean teachers? Who’s with me???

David Letterman was on vacation last week, so he was not able to pay tribute to Robin Williams until last night. The Late Show host honored his friend of 38 years with a beautiful, well executed tribute that will make you tear up. He told the story of the first time he saw the Oscar winner perform standup, and he knew that there was greatness standing in front of him. He was also afraid for his job because he was so good. The CBS host then shared the story about how Williams would get his comedy buddies, like Letterman, to be on Mork & Mindy to help out their careers. Finally, he concluded his emotional stories with a look back at the best of Robin’s fifty, yes 5-0, appearances on his shows.
I don’t care what you are doing today, but you need to take 10 minutes of your day to watch this heartfelt look back at a friendship that lasted through the decades.

Chelsea Handler reportedly screws her staff |

When David Letterman switched networks, he took his staff with him. When Jay Leno moved to an earlier timeslot and back, he took his staff with him. When Conan O’Brien switched coasts, timeslots and networks, he took his staff with him. When Jimmy Fallon moved up an hour, he took his staff with him. Stephen Colbert said he is taking his staff from Comedy Central to CBS with him.
Well The NY Daily News is reporting today that Chelsea Handler is only taking two members of her staff with her to Netflix, even though she told them they would be going with her.
So I guess her bitchy persona isn’t just for television?
I wasn’t going to watch her show after the move because I find her completely unfunny, and now I definitely won’t be watching. If you can screw the people that make you look good, what does that say about you? I mean, look at how all the other late night hosts supported their staff, unlike her. Which is sad, very sad. Kind of like her humor.
