Hal Rudkick from Screen Junkies covered the junket for This Is 40 and he got Leslie Mann, Paul Rudd and Judd Apatow drunk and that wasn’t the best part of the interview. He also had them recreate the most famous scene from Apatow’s other 40 movie, he had them wax him like it was done to Steve Carrell in The 40 Year Old Virgin. As soon as he took out that strip of wax, Leslie lit up like someone had the biggest joint she had ever seen. Granted can’t say I blame her because I would’ve had that same reaction.
Since her husband also got to partake in the waxing and in the video, I am sure he will watch this and know how to pleasure his wife again like before they were married with kids and over 40. Just let her rip the hairs off of his body and she will let him do what ever he wants.
I don’t know why but for some reason, I just haven’t gotten into the Christmas spirit yet this year. Part of it could be because I was waiting to see if the Mayans were right before I went shopping; but the other part of it is that we have been having a really warm winter here in LA this year. Today it is feeling like Christmas outside and listening to Jennifer Hudson sing Carol of the Bells with The Muppets on Sesame Street just made it feel the same way inside! Seriously she made my holiday with that song that I can’t listening to!
Jon Bon Jovi was a guest on The Late Show yesterday and David Letterman asked him about his friendship with Bruce Springsteen. The man with the best a$$ in Rock’n’Roll said that he played with The Boss for the first time back when he was only 16 years old. So the CBS late night host asked if Jon could ever be in the E Street Band and the singer said “I couldn’t have been in the sons of the E Street Band.” Then Letterman said, “I couldn’t be in the E Street Band. I lived on F Street.” That’s when Bon Jovi made that drum sound that every comedian knows when he bombs at a joke. So I guess you can say that joke got an F Street from Jon Bon Jovi and I am getting an F Street from all of you.
BTW I don’t know why, but in this interview I thought that Jon Bon Jovi’s speaking voice was so different than his singing one. It was so quiet as compared to the boisterous one you hear when you see him live in concert and I stare at his beautiful butt!
This Is the End might be the end all of movies because almost every funny actor under 40 is in it, but you would never know it by watching the trailer. Now having said that, the one thing I do know is that teaser trailer makes me want to see the movie when it comes out on June 14th. That is if we are still around to see it…
