Amanda Bynes has become Hollywood’s #1 Most Wanted and the person who used to hold that title is letting her thoughts be heard on that matter. Lindsay Lohan took to Twitter yesterday and said, “Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far? +” Then she added, “These are the moments that I appreciate my life experiences, living without regrets and Disney for supporting me as an actress-night all*”
You would think with all of her legal troubles that Lindsay would’ve known that Amanda hasn’t had her day in court yet, thus why she is still free to walk around. You know since she can’t drive anymore due to her car being impounded yesterday in my neighborhood, thus making Burbank a safe place to live once again.
When it comes to Nickelodeon, except for Bynes and Jamie Lynn Spears who had a kid 17, they have pretty much turned out OK. Now when it comes to Disney, do I even to list their troubled stars? So to blame what studio was Bynes is linked to as excuse why she is still free is not a good argument. And on that note when was the last time that Lindsay did something with Disney if they have been so supportive?
BTW it says a lot about Bynes if even Lindsay is dissing you.
American Idol started auditions today and before they did they finally announced who would be on their judging panel. We already knew Mariah Carey was joining the show, and today AI said her manager Randy Jackson, who is the original besides Ryan Seacrest to still be on the show, will be back again. But there are two new names on the panel and they are the people that have been rumored for weeks. In case you haven’t heard it will be Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban and they are not enough to get me to watch the show again.
Anyone who is over the age to audition for the show will think, why Nicki Minaj? She is the much less talented version of Lady Gaga, who can’t sing and is known for her outrageous looks. To me she brings no cred to the show.
Now when it comes to Keith Urban I know he has a lot of country hits to his name and that is he’s married to Nicole Kidman, but other than that I know nothing. He comes off as boring to me, so I am not sure what he will bring to the show.
When it comes to having four judges, I guess they didn’t learn it doesn’t work. It is too many people trying to get their opinions in and none of them will say anything worthwhile. Especially since I am sure Nicki, Mariah and Randy will all try to make sure they say they most.
If I were Mariah, I would be pissed because Fox blew a great opportunity. She was a good get, but the rest are not.
At least Fox still has The X Factor going strong, oh wait…
Tomorrow is start of American Idol‘s auditions with the judges, but will they have them? For months there have been rumors that Miley Cyrus, Nick Jonas and so many others would be the ones replacing the departing Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler, but so far only Mariah Carey is confirmed to do so. Over the last few weeks the list has dwindled down to three other names and they are Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban and mainstay Randy Jackson. As of now Fox has not confirmed any of those three, but with the season to start filming tomorrow they might be ready to finally confirm something. Well at least that is what executive producer Nigel Lythgoe is thinking because he Tweeted, “I believe there is an official release tomorrow regarding the #IdolJudges? I do hope so as the auditions begin in the morning.” I am sure if things are not finalized in the next 24 hours, he would be more than willing to sit in the vacant chair until it is filled.
Personally I don’t care who they pick at this point, as long as they pick someone already!
Willie Aames stopped by the taping of Scott Baio’s new Nick At Nite show See Dad Run and the two of them look as close as they did when they played best friends in the movie Zapped! and on the classic sitcom Charles in Charge. Can you believe that campy teen movie came out 30 years ago because the 51 year old Baio and the 52 year old Aames look as good as they did when they started playing Charles and Buddy back in 1984.
Seeing the two of them together like that has totally made my week. So much so I am going to dust off my copy Zapped! and watch it again. But until I do, I will just keep singing the theme song to Charles in Charles over and over again like a giddy teenage girl watching the show just to see them.
BTW it took me a minute to realize that it was Eight is Enough’s Tommy sitting next to Happy Day’s Chachi because he looks really great now. I really hope that Baio can create a role for him on See Dad Run because I know I for one would love to see the two of them working together again. Tell me I am not alone.
