Axl Rose tells the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to live and let die
April 11th, 2012 under Axl Rose. [ Comments: 2 ]

Guns N’ Roses will be inducted into the Rock and Roll of Fame on Saturday and since that announcement the original band members have been asked how they will treat their ex-bandmates at the ceremony and let’s just say it hasn’t been positive. Well just days before the big night, Axl Rose announced in a statement on Facebook that he will not be attending. But it doesn’t stop there, he also said that “I respectfully decline my induction as a member of Guns N’ Roses to the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.” The long letter goes on and on about Poor Axl and how he is putting himself before the fans but he still loves them. If The Police, who weren’t talking at the time could all accept the honor together; why can’t he suck it up for one night?
If you needed another reason to not be a fan of Axl Rose, I think you have it. But let’s be real after the Chinese Democracy debacle, we didn’t really need another reason.
Oh and if you want to read the whole long boring letter that he wrote to the Hall of Fame then click here!

BTWF roles: Krysten Ritter on Whoopi
April 11th, 2012 under Before They Were Famous. [ Comments: none ]

(starts at 1:35 in)

Before Krysten Ritter was called a Bitch on Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt 23, she was called a bitch on Whoopi. She looks the same now as she did when she was 22 in that 2004 episode.

Mort la Revolution
April 11th, 2012 under TV Soaps. [ Comments: none ]

ABC finally did something smart today with its daytime programming because they cancelled The Revolution and renewed General Hospital! According to Deadline Hollywood The Revolution’s run will end in June and be replaced by Good Morning America until Katie Couric’s latest rating failure, I mean show debuts in the fall.
Now when it comes to General Hospital, nice to the see the networks are realizing there are too many boring talk shows on TV during the day and not enough Soap Operas. Although I wish ABC would’ve done it before the whole Robin’s death fiasco. I am still bitter over that.
Viva la Revolution of Soap Operas!!!

Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt 23, but trust me you will love this show!!!
April 11th, 2012 under ABC. [ Comments: 1 ]

Tonight at 9:30p Don’t Trust the B in Apt 23 is going to debut on ABC and you are so going to want to watch this laugh out loud sitcom.
When I heard about this show last year during pilot season, I thought it was going to be so stupid that it would never be picked up by the network. Well I was wrong and I am so glad I was because it is so freaking hilarious.
June Colbern (Dreama Walker) moves to NYC for the perfect job. On her first day at the job the government shuts down the business and seizes the building she now no longer lives in. Now she is jobless and homeless and desperately needs both. So she looks for a roommate and moves in with Chloe (Krysten Ritter) whom she thinks is perfect. That all changes once her new roommie gets her money because then Chloe turns into the Bitch in Apt 23. She will terrorize her in so many ways trying to get her to move out (like sleeping June’s fiance’ on her birthday cake), but none of them will work. It looks like Chloe has met her match, but that won’t stop her.
In the upcoming episodes they will form an interesting friendship and because of that we will be laughing. Chloe is so messed up that even when she tries to do something good it is totally wrong. I mean seriously next week’s episode is a perfect example of all of the wrongness of Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt 23.
Now even though there is so much wrongness on the show, there is so much right with James Van Der Beek playing James Van Der Beek. He is so freaking perfect on the show, that in ways I wish it was all him, all the time. Dawson is on the joke and that is what makes his addition so perfect. There will be several homages to his past roles and several awww moments about his life now that you will love him even more than Joey ever did.
So tune in for the surprise comedy of the season, I promise you will want to move in even though you know how much of a bitch Chloe is.
