David Letterman was a guest on Live with Regis and Kelly yesterday and as a going away present he gave him a big, wet kiss on the lips! It was so wet both men were seem wiping their lips after the adoring smooch![
Even though the kiss comes at the end of the interview, I would highly suggest watching the whole thing because it is the funniest I have seen the CBS Late Show host in a really long time! I wish he was relaxed more like that on his show because then maybe I would watch.
Now I will admit I don’t watch Live, but even I know what a huge loss Regis Philbin leaving the show tomorrow will be. I am sure he will land somewhere we can still enjoy him. Maybe Larry King and him can do a show together?
HLN has opted to pull the plug on Joy Behar instead of keeping her on their air even though she is the network’s second highest rated show. A publicist for HLN confirmed the firing to The Hollywood Reporter by saying, “The show has not been renewed.”
I never understood the hiring in the first place, so I am happy she is gone. Not that I ever watched her show, but hopefully the network will start doing more of the N (news) in the HLN again because then it was a channel worth watching.
Now that they got rid of the annoying loud mouth from The View, any chance they are thinking of doing to the same to Dr Drew?
UPDATE: Joy Behar Tweeted her reaction to the cancellation, “Thanks for all your support. But you know what they say…the show must go off.”
Yesterday on Late Night, Jimmy Fallon had his 4 guests play Password together. It was the oddest pairing and in a weird way it worked out brilliantly well. It was Miss Piggy and Martin Short vs Kermit the Frog and REM’s Michael Stipe and can you guess what team won? Yeah, and the winner looks like he won something even better than the game, so watch it all the way through to see what he won.
But before you get to that, you have to see the not so Kosher word they had as the answer for Miss Piggy. I don’t blame her for being so upset!
Jerry Seinfeld is on The Late Show tonight and he winds up dissing David Letterman to his face. The CBS late night host is jealous because Seinfeld shares a Newsweek cover with Regis Philbin and he doesn’t. So Letterman tried to diss Seinfeld, but the Marriage Ref creator fought back and wins.
I don’t know why Letterman thought he could outdiss the younger comedian because I think everyone but him saw that he would come back with a swing and a hit!
