About two years ago TBS branched out into late night TV with George Lopez and today they announced that they were cancelling Lopez Tonight. The network released this statement about the cancellation, “TBS has reached the difficult decision not to order a third season of Lopez Tonight. Thursday will be the final episode of the show. We are proud to have partnered with George Lopez, who is an immensely talented comedian and entertainer. TBS has valued its partnership with George and appreciates all of his work on behalf of the network, both on and off the air.” I am sad to see this show go because for a first time late night host, he did a pretty good job. Plus he got some good guests on the show and treated them right. I really hope they can get Erik Estrada to appear on the final episode because it would be a nice consolation prize for Lopez.
TBS has not announced what will replace the show but hopefully they won’t replace Lopez Tonight with The George Lopez Show repeats because that would be a kick in the pants.
James Franco was on Conan O’Brien yesterday and he told the TBS host that he once made a sex tape with his girlfriend. He said that once he was done and watched it with her, they realized they never should watch it again. The Rise of the Planet Apes star told him that there is an art to pornography and he hasn’t mastered it. He then gave an analogy that had Conan running and jumping off of his own set. You have to watch what it is because I had the same reaction as Team Coco!
You know the saying that there are plenty of fish in the water? Well it looks like Robert Buckley is ready to be caught! I know I would reel him in if I saw him flopping around the beach like that!

Yesterday White Collar was filming a scene in Staten Island and we discovered that Matt Bomer has a flaw. The actor who seems perfect in every way actually revealed that he actually sweats. Granted it was close to 90 degrees yesterday and even the most perfect man will lose the battle with antiperspirant in that heat.
BTW talking about heat, how freaking awesome was last night’s season finale? What do you think is going to happen when the show comes back in January?
