Topher Grace has to thank his role in Valentine’s day to Anne Hathaway having a crush on him before they made the movie. According to OK! Garry Marshall likes his actors to have chemistry and he said, “Anne Hathaway, she told me (about) this actor she once had a crush on – we hired him, Topher Grace; they kissed very well.” We know that Anne had a thing for the That ’70s Show star, but now I wonder if he had a crush on The Princess Diaries actress and that is why “they kissed very well”?
BTW Garry also talked about another couple that he hired for the movie that he thought had chemistry beforehand, “Julia Roberts… Bradley Cooper, she did a play (Three Days of Rain) on Broadway with him, 98 performances, they must have gotten along! We matched up.” That is not always true, it was rumored that Jeremy Piven’s castmates did not get along with him when he did Speed the Plow?
On Supernatural Sam and Ruby were a match made in hell, but here in the real world Jared Padalecki and Genevieve Cortese are a match made in heaven. So much so that the two co-stars tied the knot on Saturday in Sun Valley, Idaho according to Eonline. Jared’s real life brother served as his best man, and his TV brother Jensen Ackles was a groomsmen. Now I wonder if Jared will be part of Jensen’s wedding when he gets married to One Tree Hill’s Danneel Harris?
Jared, 27 and Genevieve, 29 (who is now on FlashForward) met in 2008 on Supernatural and announced their engagement two months ago.
BTW the ringing you have been hearing in your ears since their nuptials has not been the Angels coming down to earth, but women all over the world crying over the news that Jared is no longer a single man. Women love their Winchester Boys!
How I Met Your Mother is back on CBS at 8p and tonight’s episode is off the hook. Carrie Underwood guest stars as a woman who keeps Ted on the hook, what that means you will have tune in to find out. Ted isn’t the only one being kept on the hook, he is keeping someone on the hook and so are Robin and Lily. Yes Lily is too, but Marshall was once on the hook himself. The only person not on the hook or being hooked is Barney and that is because he is working his way through Carrie Underwood’s co-workers.
Tonight’s How I Met Your Mother is the funniest one of the season, so you are not going to want to miss it. And did I mention that Neil Patrick Harris’ boyfriend and a tea cup pig are also on the show? C’mon you know you want to see the tea cup pig wrapped in a blanket!!! Yep, you read that right there is a pig in a blanket on the show and no one eats it!
BTW after HIMYM, Rules of Engagement is back on CBS at 8:30p and even though I had problems with my screener, I can tell you that tonight’s season premiere was hil-ar-i-ous!
