The Wonder Years are ahead for Danica McKellar and her husband, Mike Verta because they are expecting their first child in the fall. The actress told People that she wanted to put off taking the pregnancy test because she had a deadline due for her upcoming book, Hot X: Algebra Exposed. She added that only lasted a day because curiosity was killing the cat. She then told them, “When you do take the home pregnancy test, it doesn’t quite seem real. But when you see the baby and the heartbeat on the ultrasound, it’s so incredible.” Mckellar continued, “Me and Mike looked at each other and we could not stop the tears,” she says. “We are so happy.” And now the paparazzi are extremely happy because pregnancy pictures of her are going to be hot commodity because you know Winnie Cooper is going to be so cute with her growing baby bump and blogs like me are going to want to post pictures of her expanding waistline!
UPDATE: Danica McKellar isn’t the only television actress to announce that she is pregnant, Parks and Recreation’s Amy Poehler is expecting her second child with Will Arnett. According to The Wrap, the NBC comedy is rushing production of the show to accommodate her pregnancy. As soon as they are done taping the second season, they will begin production on the third season. Her baby bump will not be written into the show, but instead they will find interesting ways to hide it. I can’t wait to see what they come up with because you know it will be original!
Ben Stiller was on Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis on Funny or Die and Zach ripped him several new ones during the 5 minute interview! Ben Stiller is rumored not to be one of the nicest guys in Hollywood, so it was nice to see someone not kiss his a$$ during an interview but instead kick it. My favorite part is when he asked him “Do you wish you followed your parents into comedy?” I loved that so much because I rarely find myself laughing at any of his movies, especially the parts with him in it. Now after that interview, I don’t have to worry sitting through one of his movie because the hilarious Zach is in it because I doubt that Stiller will be casting him anytime soon…and that is A OK with me!
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s real life couple Kaitlin Olson and Rob McElhenney are expecting their first child in August. The actress told People, “Rob and I are so excited it’s stupid,” Olson says in a statement. “The last couple years have been pretty amazing for us and just when we thought things couldn’t get any better, the greatest little thing in the world happened! We’re totally beside ourselves.” No word from FX if her pregnancy will be written into the show that is back in September. I don’t think they can, but you never know with this show maybe they will make her surrogate to someone or a drunken night with a man she doesn’t remember so she doesn’t know who the daddy is. Actually scratch that, I hope they write her pregnancy in.
The two were married in September of 2008 and they were the second couple who met on the show to tie the knot, but the first one to breed.
Before Greg Kinnear was Stuck On You, the contestants of the show he was hosting, College Mad House had pies stuck to their faces. The 26 year old looks exactly the same now as he did when he hosted that show back in 1989.
BTW I want one of the networks to bring back College Mad House just so I could watch people get hit in the face with a pie!
