A few weeks ABC announced that they were moving All My Children from NYC to LA and today they announced who will and won't be making the cross country move.
Here are the contracted actors who will be making the move: Brittany Allen, David Canary, Bobbie Eakes, Melissa Claire Egan, Stephanie Gatschet, Ricky Paull Goldin, Vincent Irizarry, Michael E. Knight, Susan Lucci, Jamie Luner, Adam Mayfield, JR Martinez, Cameron Mathison, Debbi Morgan, Cornelius Smith, Jr., Denise Vasi, Darnell Williams and Jacob Young.
Ray MacDonnell has announced that he will be retiring. We wish him well and our heartfelt congratulations. Thorsten Kaye will not be relocating to Los Angeles, and Alicia Minshew will be on maternity leave beginning November 2009. She will continue to appear on air through the month of December. Appearances by actors on recurring status will be determined by storyline needs and availability.
I am so glad that so many of them decided to make the move, it will help to keep the show alive and keep the feel it had in their old home. So are your favorites on the list?
There had been rumors that ABC and CBS had been banning their talent from doing NBC’s The Jay Leno Show and looks like last night Julia Louis Dreyfus confirmed it when she appeared on his show. When I saw she was on his show, I was like I thought she wasn’t allowed to be on his show because The New Adventures of Old Christine is on CBS, and thought since he isn’t a threat to their 10p shows they said OK. But in reality it according to her it was her saying she was going to do his show. It will be interesting to see if any other ABC and CBS stars will cross The Jay Leno Show line when they have stuff to promote that isn’t related to their network’s shows. Personally I can’t blame the networks for saying no because he is direct competition to their programming and so far he has only beat one show in the ratings. Which I guess means that Christian Slater’s the forgotten might be living up to its name soon???

Jimmy Kimmel who became a worldwide sensation for the f*cking videos with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck on his show Jimmy Kimmel Live! offered to help Kevin Nealon promote his upcoming DVD Now Hear Me Out! by making a f*cking video with him. It was a something I didn’t need to see, but hey if it helps Nealon sell his DVD that is out next Tuesday then all is OK, I guess.
BTW isn’t ironic that the Kevmel video came out the day after the rumor started that there is a Jimmy Kimmel/Sarah Silverman 15 minute sex tape out there? Thankfully Gossip Cop proved that rumor false because no way I could handle that. Because as much as I wouldn’t want to watch it, I would find myself having to see it and thus I would never ever be able to watch Jimmy Kimmel Live! again. Or maybe I would watch it even more because according to Ricky Gervais on the show last night little Jimmy isn’t that little…
