David Spade was an audience member on American Idol a few weeks ago. Being a celebrity he got great seats for his mom and him behind the Judges. Which is cool, but the camera can catch you doing things even if you don’t think it is on you. In the case of David Spade, the cameras and Jimmy Kimmel caught him taking a piece of gum out of his mouth and putting it under his chair on live TV. So gross. I hope his mom chewed him out for that!!! But even if she didn’t I think the end of the interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night was enough for David Spade to learn his lesson. At least I hope it was.
BTW I will check with my contacts at Jimmy Kimmel Live! later to see if they found gum under their chairs today, since David Spade seems to have a problem with that. And we don’t want Hugh Jackman or John Cho to accidentally get some of Spade’s gum on them when they are on the ABC show tonight at 12:05a.
BFFs and Ballas Hough Band bandmates Mark Ballas and Derek Hough are considering joining Derek's sister and taking a season off of Dancing with the Stars. When Marc Maklin asked Derek about it he said, "Mark and I might not be back, either," he says. "We have other things going on." Things like touring this summer to promote their debut album that came out in March. Derek said they haven't made a final decision on whether or not they will be back next season. That is what his sister Julianne said before she was paired with her real life boyfriend this season. Something Derek can't do because he met his girlfriend Shannon Elizabeth when she was his partner on the show 2 seasons ago. Also Mark's girlfriend was disqualified from American Idol after Hollywood week, so she is not big enough to the show. Derek added, "it would be crazy, all three of us…leaving at the same time." I really hope he doesn't leave the show because I really love to watch him dance. Mark, I could live without. Would you miss the 3 champions if they were gone? One person who won't, would wind up being the only pro winner left on the show…Cheryl Burke.
UPDATE: Derek Hough might have another reason why he will be too busy to do DWTS next season…he also told Marc Malkin that he met with people from the upcoming Footloose people to talk about the possibility of replacing Zac Efron in the movie.

Ellen Pompeo announced last month that she is pregnant with her first child, but shockingly this is the first time we are really getting to see Dr Meredith Grey’s baby bump! Even though she confirmed the McBaby, she didn’t say how far along she is. By the looks of those pictures, I will guess Shonda Rimes is going to have her summer full of trying to either write in her pregnancy on Grey’s Anatomy or how to write off her title character while she is on her maternity leave.

Before the hobbit was on Lost, he was kissing a girl on a couch in Hetty Wainthropp Investigates! How awkward was the 21 year old’s kissing scene from that 1996 British dramedy? But he was still cute, just not kissable!
