Jeff Conaway calls 911 on tonight’s Celeb Rehab
November 20th, 2008 under VH1/MTV. [ Comments: none ]

It is so sad to watch Jeff Conaway’s journey to sobriety on Celeb Rehab 2, but it is also one that should be watched because it shows what an addicted person is like. I have read that in tonight’s episode of Celeb Rehab 2 on VH1 at 10p Conaway and Gary Busey get into a fight. That should be interesting to watch.

Eli Roth directing a film within the film Inglourious Basterds?
November 19th, 2008 under Eli Roth. [ Comments: none ]

Looks like Quentin Taratino is letting his BFF Eli Roth aka The Bear Jew go from in front of the camera in Inglourious Basterds to behind it for a film within the film called Nation’s Pride. According to The Quentin Tarantino Archives, Eli is a “guest director for the “film within the film”, which stars Daniel Brühl as a Nazi sniper and GIs on a suicide mission.” The little tidbit was realized when someone realized that QT was not at the shoot above, and it was revealed that Eli was. After staring at my computer screen for hours trying to see if I could see The Bear Jew with his military haircut (because he looks so cute with his new do and I wanted to see him with it in plain clothes!) in the fan video, alas I discovered I could not find him. Oh well, soon enough we will see it all when Inglourious Basterds comes out next year! I so can’t wait for this movie!

Enter to a win a Tim Gunn’s book Tim Gunn: A Guide to Quality, Taste and Style!!! All you have to do is E-Mail me the answer at [email protected] to "What is the name of Tim Gunn’s show that airs Thursday on Bravo that has people going from drab to fab?" by November 30th with your name and address! A winner will be selected at random!
Tim Gunn is back to the rescue, diving into women’s closets everywhere for the second season of “Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style.” that airs on Bravo Thursdays at 10p. Joining Gunn as his new “fashion accomplice” this season is Gretta Monahan, fashion expert, personal stylist and owner of Grettacole Spas, Salons and Gretta Luxe Boutiques. Gunn and Monahan won’t be making anyone over – with tough love and guidance, they’ll help people make themselves over.
In each episode of “Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style,” Gunn will use his unmatched counseling skills, to turn the fashion weary into polished and dapper-looking individuals. Monahan will accompany style-challenged women on shopping challenges, while guiding their choices, supporting them and listening to and offering solutions for their concerns. She’ll contribute her opinions, share her fashion knowledge, and support Gunn while he focuses on the big picture of each subject’s transformation. The series utilizes several tools to help a diverse set of women make themselves over, including the latest technology, full body scans and life-size CG modeling; Monahan will rescue and transform items through alteration and re-design, exclusive access to top fashion designers and their showrooms and celebrity hair and makeup artists for every makeover. When building their signature looks, the subjects use Gunn’s “essential shopping list,” which includes 10 basic pieces that no closet should be without. And armed with Gunn’s rules, each makeover subject is encouraged to get a great pair of jeans or a casual, but stylish, outfit for non-work activities, a trying task for any woman.
Tim Gunn: A Guide to Quality, Taste and Style is available in stores now.
