Can Sam save Jamie Kennedy’s soul on tonight’s Reaper?
March 13th, 2008 under The CW. [ Comments: none ]

Sam (Bret Harrison) tries to save an untalented musician (guest star Jamie Kennedy) from selling his soul to the Devil (Ray Wise) to become a rock star.
Meanwhile, Sock (Tyler Labine) is stunned when his mother (guest star Marilyn Norry) returns from Las Vegas and announces she got married. He refuses to accept her new husband (guest star Henry Nah), so he moves in with Sam.

Why would anyone want to save Jamie Kennedy’s soul?
But seriously folks Reaper is back on The CW tonight at 9p for 3 new episodes and please check out this show if you haven’t seen it before. This is one the few bubble shows on The CW and just like Jamie Kennedy’s soul this show needs a saving. It is a fun show that is a part comedy, part supernatural, part male-bonding and all-around great!
So give Reaper a try tonight on The CW at 9p or I might have to sell my soul to the devil to get you guys to do it.

Beverly Hills 90210 coming back to TV on The CW?
March 13th, 2008 under Beverly Hills 90210 / Melrose Place. [ Comments: 5 ]

The CW is working on Beverly Hills 90201 spinoff and that is all that The Hollywood Reporter knows as of now. It is not sure if it will be like Saved By The Bell: The New Class where Screech came back as a teacher and that was the connection to the original or if it will be like Degrassi: The Next Generation where the spinoff was based on the child of one of the original characters Spike. It will be interesting to see what they will do even though no one who worked on the original will be working on the show as of now. So why didn’t they just do a drama about a high school in Beverly Hills instead of claiming it is spinoff? Novel idea…no?
No word if they show has a good chance of being picked up, but The CW will two extra hours of programming to fill next season on Friday nights now that they have cancelled Smackdown.

Now they are destroying Fame
March 13th, 2008 under Stupid Sequels/Remakes. [ Comments: none ]

Fame is the latest movie to be remade according to Variety. The movie will be like the original where it follow kids from auditioning to get in to the High School of Performing Arts to the day that they graduate.
They will be holding open-call auditions next month on both coasts to discover some new talent for the movie. Hopefully this movie that begins production on Labor Day won’t be that bad. This is one of the few remakes that could actually work!

Is that really Jim Carrey?

Once again Madame Tussauds did a great job with a wax figure, this time it is Jim Carrey. Seriously how realistic does that wax figure look? I really thought it was Jim Carrey the first time I saw it.

Who was stipped of being this year’s American Idol?

How the heck was David Hernadez voted off instead of Kristy Lee Cook? Seriously she sang Eight Days a Week so badly that I am not sure I will ever be able to listen to it again and that was one my favorite Beatles tunes. She must must must go next week. But back to David Hernandez, now I bummed I will never hear him sing Adam Ant's Strip.
BTW here is American Idol's Top 11, I will include who is who because I still don't know which one is which.
Clockwise from Bottom L : Ramiele Malubay, Brooke White, David Archuleta, Kristi Lee Cook, David Cook, Michael Johns, Carly Smithson, Amanda Overmyer, Chickieze and Jason Castro.
