Come hell or high water, Lindsay Lohan is still going through with her 21st birthday party according to Access Hollywood. They are saying that even rehab won't stop her, she would leave rehab just to have her party. Her advisers are telling her to cancel the party she still wants to have a big blowout for her 21st on July 2nd. Before she into rehab she told Ellen Degeneres what she wanted, “I’m going to milk it,. “It’s a big birthday and I think it's been a long time in coming for my friends in LA who have clubs … [soon they won’t] have to worry about getting in trouble because I’m underage.”
Hopefully the more time she spends in rehab the less she will care about her big blowout, but we are talking Lindsay Lohan, so you know this party is going to be off the hook. Can we say hire a driver for the night?

Bob Barker, came on down
June 6th, 2007 under The Price is Right. [ Comments: none ]

Today was a big day in television history as Bob Barker taped his last The Price of Right. After hosting the show for 35 years Bob Barker said good bye, "I thank you, thank you, thank you for inviting me into your home for more than 50 years. I'm truly grateful and I hope that all of you have enjoyed your visit to `The Price Is Right.'" And we all enjoyed our visit to The Price is Right at some point in our lives. Bob being Bob closed out his show with his signature phrase according to AP, "Help control the pet population, have your pets spayed or neutered. Goodbye everybody." The final episode airs on June 15th.
Thank you Bob Barker!
BTW just like Sanjaya Malakar he had his own crying fan there!

Bradley Cooper joins Nip/Tuck
June 6th, 2007 under Bradley Cooper, Nip/Tuck. [ Comments: none ]

Bradley Cooper will join Nip/Tuck for a 5 episode arc next season according to Michael Ausiello. What he will do on the show is unknown, but the one thing we do know is that he will not have a love interest.

Ironically enough on that note, his soon-to-be-ex-wife is also doing a multi-arc guest role on FX's Rescue Me. See if they were still together, they could celebrate both working together on the same network.

I can't wait to see what they do with/to him on Nip/Tuck, I just loved him on Kitchen Confidential and Jack & Bobby.

We won!!! Jericho is coming back for 7 episodes!!!!!!!

To the Fans of Jericho:

Wow!

Over the past few weeks you have put forth an impressive and probably unprecedented display of passion in support of a prime time television series. You got our attention; your emails and collective voice have been heard.

As a result, CBS has ordered seven episodes of “Jericho” for mid-season next year. In success, there is the potential for more. But, for there to be more “Jericho,” we will need more viewers.

A loyal and passionate community has clearly formed around the show. But that community needs to grow. It needs to grow on the CBS Television Network, as well as on the many digital platforms where we make the show available.

We will count on you to rally around the show, to recruit new viewers with the same grass-roots energy, intensity and volume you have displayed in recent weeks.

At this time, I cannot tell you the specific date or time period that “Jericho” will return to our schedule. However, in the interim, we are working on several initiatives to help introduce the show to new audiences. This includes re-broadcasting “Jericho” on CBS this summer, streaming episodes and clips from these episodes across the CBS Audience Network (online), releasing the first season DVD on September 25 and continuing the story of Jericho in the digital world until the new episodes return. We will let you know specifics when we have them so you can pass them on.

On behalf of everyone at CBS, thank you for expressing your support of “Jericho” in such an extraordinary manner. Your protest was creative, sustained and very thoughtful and respectful in tone. You made a difference.

Sincerely,

Nina Tassler
President, CBS Entertainment

P.S. Please stop sending us nuts 🙂

Ya freaking hoo!!! I am so bloody happy, I can’t begin to tell you!!! Thank you CBS!
Guys when CBS puts Jericho back on the air we have to watch live! And then go to another TV and watch it on Tivo/DVR before 2a, so we give the show double the ratings. We can’t let CBS think they made a mistake! We just got a second season, let’s try to get a third!!!
Also thanks to all the people who sent nuts and to NutsOnline for making this happen!!
Long live Jericho!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Raquel Welch returing to TV
June 6th, 2007 under CBS. [ Comments: 1 ]

(photo from Starpulse
TV Guide is reporting that CBS has picked up The Captain for 6 episodes as a mid-season replacement. The Captain stars Raquel Welch, Jeffrey Tambor, JoAnna Garcia and Chris Klein. The show is about a retired screenwriting genius played by Tambor. I wonder with CBS picking up this show if they do not have a lot faith in the shows that they are premiering this fall?
