Anna Nicole Smith loves to sell her daughter
January 15th, 2007 under Anna Nicole Smith. [ Comments: none ]

Anna Nicole Smith has been peddling exclusive pics of her baby daughter to the tabs, says a source, and has used the cash to buy a house in the Bahamas. “After she sold footage and photos of the birth to a TV show, she starting seeing that child as a cash cow,” says the insider. “Howard K. Stern [Smith’s lawyer and the man whom she claims is the father of the baby] takes the pictures and they sell them to the highest bidder.” The house in the Bahamas could help Smith maintain residency there, since she’s reportedly being booted from her current house in the island nation, where she’s been living — some say to avoid paternity testing. The situation has Larry Birkhead — the photographer who says that he, not Stern, is the baby’s father — “outraged” and “disgusted.” “I’m outraged that they’re trying to pimp my daughter,” Birkhead tells The Scoop. “If Anna wants to sell pictures of herself, that’s one thing, but to conveniently put my daughter in every single photo to up the ante is sick and disgusting. And what’s even more disgusting is that someone would buy them because they are financially assisting someone who’s stockpiling money in an attempt to keep my child from me.”

Scoop

Seriously who would want to pay for those pictures? I mean, in a few weeks there will be plenty of her available when the police come to give her to Larry Birkhead.

GO BEHIND THE SCENES OF THE HIT COMEDY SERIES “THE CLASS”

AT CBS.COM

Attention, fans!  It’s time to go to class.  “The Class,” that is.  Warner Bros. Television and CBS Interactive invite viewers to experience, for the first time ever, a pair of live events that will provide a unique, behind-the-scenes look at the process of producing an original episode of a major network television series.

            First Stop: The Table Read

On Monday, January 15 at 11:00 a.m. PT, fans can go to www.cbs.com to watch a live webcast of the cast, producers and writers of “The Class” participating in a “table read” of an upcoming episode.  The table read marks the first day of production on a half-hour multi-camera comedy, offering the actors their first opportunity to work on scenes together and giving the director, writers and producers instant feedback on how the episode is received by an audience.  The table read is traditionally followed by rehearsal on Tuesday, leading to the first complete rehearsal performance of the episode on stage on Wednesday.  And CBS.com will be there, too.

            The Run-Thru: Halfway There

On Wednesday, January 17 at 1:00 p.m. PT, fan can catch a second live webcast at www.cbs.com to watch the run-thru.  Traditionally, this full-episode rehearsal process takes place behind closed doors, but this exclusive event takes viewers directly inside the world of this fresh new comedy series—live and uncut.

“The Class”—from comedy kings David Crane (“Friends”) & Jeffrey Klarik (“Mad About You”), along with veteran director/executive producer James Burrows (“Taxi,” “Cheers”)—follows a group of former third-grade classmates whose lives become inextricably bound together after they reunite 20 years later.  The series stars Andrea Anders, Jon Bernthal, Lizzy Caplan, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Heather Goldenhersh, Sean Maguire and Jason Ritter, and it comes from craneklarik productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.

Don’t forget to watch “The Class” Mondays at 8:30 p.m. on the CBS Television Network.

I think this is a great idea! I have always wanted to see a table read and this is a great way to do so!!! Plus I love the show!

Dancing with the Stars 4 returns on Monday, March 19
January 14th, 2007 under Dancing with the Stars. [ Comments: none ]

Dancing With the Stars or American Idol? ABC said Sunday that its scheduling means you won’t have to choose. The dance contest will air at 8 p.m. Mondays and 9 p.m. Tuesdays, starting in March. The regular Tuesday slot for Fox’s American Idol will be 8 p.m. Tuesdays. "I think our fans would have been upset, Idol fans would have been upset if we had put them head to head," Steve McPherson, president of ABC Entertainment, told TV critics on their winter tour. ABC will announce the celebrity competitors on Good Morning America. But McPherson gave no date for the announcement and said the network is just halfway through the selection process. In a release, ABC said the show’s start date would be March 19. But ABC is likely to offer a March 18 preview, McPherson said. The show proved a major fall hit for ABC, which is owned by the Walt Disney Co. In other news: McPherson dismissed the Donald Trump-Rosie O’Donnell feud, which started on ABC’s The View. "To me, the entire thing is stupid," McPherson said. "It’s a publicity stunt for Trump."

Orlando Sentinel

It is going to be interesting to see how it is going to do on Mondays against CBS’s comedies, Fox’s serial dramas and Heroes. On Tuesdays it will be killed by House, but I think it will do ok against NBC and CBS’s lineups. I am bummed by the move because I will have to DVR it downstairs (the smaller TV) because I am not going to move Heroes or HIMYM and 2.5 men in order to record DWTS.
