BARNEY RECALLS HIS ‘DIRTY’ FIRST TIME
When Robin tries to talk her younger sister out of losing her virginity, the gang shares stories with each other about their “first time,” on “HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER” Monday, Jan. 8 at 8p.
This is one of the funniest shows on TV. If you haven’t seen it yet I highly suggest you check it out on Monday! Best way to put it, is I have a friend who hates sitcoms and even she loves the show!
Pimp Daddy Joe Simpson is pissed that his paycheck, er, daughter Jessica, turned down a paying gig to party with John Mayer instead! A source tells TMZ the family tiff started when Vegas’ PURE nightclub contacted Joe to have Jess host a New Year’s Eve party for what we are told was a large sum of money. Jessica wasn’t interested in working on the holiday, says our source, and told Pops she wanted to spend a mellow New Year’s sans glitz and glamour. With her recent Kennedy Center Honors debacle, film flop and tanking music career, the girl’s had a rough year! When Papa Joe found out baby Jessica’s idea of a quiet night at home meant canoodling with Mayer at various NYC hotspots, the minister turned Svengali was livid — not because she was with her new boy, but because she partied — for free! With Jessica reportedly not getting reimbursed for $15,000 in styling fees associated with her aborted Dolly Parton tribute, Joe is sure to have his little girl working double shifts in no time. Papa needs a new pair of shoes!
FORMER Playboy model Anna-Nicole Smith must have a paternity test by the end of this month to determine who her child’s father is, a court has ordered. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Robert Schnider ruled that Smith and her baby, Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern, must take the tests by January 23, a lawyer representing celebrity photographer Larry Birkhead said. Birkhead, who claims to be the baby’s father, launched a lawsuit against Smith in October, a month after the child was born. Smith’s long-time personal lawyer, Howard K. Stern, maintains he is the baby’s father. Birkhead’s lawyer Debra Opri said today it was yet to be decided how the tests would be carried out as Smith was in the Bahamas. "We said in October that we were willing to send someone down to her front door (to take the tests),’’ Ms Opri said. Schnider last month ruled that Smith must take part in paternity testing without specifying a deadline.
Actress Teri Garr, 62, is "recovering nicely" after undergoing surgery to treat a brain aneurysm, her rep tells PEOPLE. "She’s alert. She’s sitting up. She’s talking," says her rep. "The prognosis is very, very good." Things didn’t look so positive on the morning of Dec. 21 when Garr’s daughter Molly, 12, and a woman who works for the actress couldn’t wake Garr up and called 911. Garr – who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in the late ’90s – was immediately brought to the hospital where doctors performed a coil embolism, according to her rep. Since the surgery, Garr – whose movies include Unaccompanied Minors and Tootsie for which received a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination – spent the holidays in the hospital, with her two brothers at her bedside and "her humor seems to be intact," says her rep.
